Love this! I'm never a fan of brass/bronze/gold hardware but it was exactly right for this piece. And the black was the kick in the pants she needed to drag her ass into the 21st century!

Beautiful outcome. Love the dark to light stain effect. Also like how you explain your steps and really appreciated the tutorial on sharpening the scraper blades. Great job! :)

I like the ombre effect. The wood grain is really beautiful. It was definitely a boxy piece and not attractive... YOU made it beautiful. ❤

Wow! I have to admit that when you mentioned the graduated stain colors, I was kinda hmmm. But it looks spectacular! So luxe, but still warm. Love it! And what a great solution for that laminate! Great job!

Good execution on your vision. It was a decrepit piece of furniture before. You gave it style and verve. Impressive!

Very nice! Like all the color combinations. Where are you finding your pieces? I'm selling my shop and went out looking in the east valley, finding junk! I mean Junk. I need something to do is my main goal. I have a shop in the back that I started in, Has most of the same equipment my shop has just smaller versions. Don't care that there are mostly single night stand know how to make a matching one

I find the majority of my project pieces at
Goodwill. You have to be diligent and go often. Good pieces go quickly and you never know when they will appear. They are also starting to raise their prices. Not bad if it is a piece that you are refinishing for your own home, but something to keep in mind if you are flipping. Thanks for the comments!

So I was wondering u said u see the plastic before. I have a hutch where the doors on the bottom have a plastic cover on them with raised designs they are made to look n feel like wood but arnt I don't want the headache to remove them but want to paint it but my grandpa used what I think is latex paint on them not sure if I can scuff n paint over it or if I have to strip it to paint it.

If you can I would probably try to strip it to get as much of that paint off as possible. If that is too much work you can try to scuff and paint. As long as they don't get a ton of use and don't get banged up they should be fine. Let me know how it works!
