I love your house. It is warm, cozy and colorful. It seems that so many houses these days are virtually devoid of color. To each his/her own, of course, but I'm not personally fond of that "hotel look". Your home is full of personality and truly charming. :)

You inspire me to be a better woman. I struggle with maintenance. I am always complimented on my home because it looks nice, but I know that it is not “clean”. I typically just keep the main floor tidy enough for unexpected visitors. Since my husband has gotten sick I am having to do more (cooking too, yuck!) I cannot believe how much time I waisted sitting around watching RUclips & Netflix. Now I watch a few videos (one in the morning, and 2-3 at bedtime.) I am getting more done, and hopefully one day I will have a schedule that I can maintain. Thank you for your persistence in ALL areas of your life, it’s nice to know I am not alone.
TV is a time sucker
Please don't beat yourself up. I look after my husband. He is paralyzed down the left side of his body through a stroke 5 years ago. I have been really helped by the flylady system and my favourite flylady was Diane in Denmark. She has the 31 babysteps videos weekly home blessing and she works with you in zone. Sophia's videos are fantastic but the weekly home blessing are supposed to take no more than an hour. The toilets are down each day are as the hand basins in a very quick morning routine. Each person can adapt the system to suit their lifestyle. The fly lady Marla talking people through the weekly home blessing every Monday but I love working alongside Diane. The robin egg blue tray in your bathroom is beautiful! Why didn't you use the steam mop on the bathroom(s) tile? But you did use it on the harwood in the boys rooms....which I didn't realize you could do!! I have all tile & hardwood. I really want a steam mop......not 100% convinced I need/worth it. Your living room curio is stunning! THANK YOU for these encouraging clenaing videos! They make home mantaining & cleaning achievable!

Sophia switch your windows and mirrors to the zone and they still get done once a month just in your zone takes minutes off the WHB. Works for me and once a month is plenty. Great job!
I do windows in my zones but mirrors with whb dusting. That what u found works.

We had a blizzard yesterday, so I was a captive cleaner! We are downsized seniors in a little ranch house so is a lot easier than the big extended family days! Everything looks so pretty in your home now!
Daffodils in Spring Today, i washed all bedding on the beds! We were without power for a bit, but the last load is in the dryer!

Your is yours and you are doing is a favor by letting us in .. Let them talk just delete them . They have nothing better to do than sit there and pick nice decent people like you apart that is sad , they were looking for your channel because they were having some problems just like the rest of us . I need to get back into the fly lady. I live in a small place so it's not hard but the swipe and swish ends up being forgotten because it looks clean and I skip days then I skip something else then before I know it I am not following the plan at all lol

Best HBH, I do more than an hour myself because of my home's size as well. I follow the tasks, go at a good pace. and not get worried about the time.
Think how long it used to take to clean the whole house. Such an easier way to keep up with it all.
