  • Are you also a Pilsner beer lover? And did you know that the way it is poured also influences its taste? In this episode of the Live Prague series, we'll show you what you need to do to get the perfect glass of the golden beverage.
We will be guided through the tapping process by Lucie Janečková, master bartender at Lokal U Bílé kuželky, where they have one of the best pilsners in Prague.
And what did we learn thanks to Lucie? For example, why the cleanliness of not only the glasses but also all the pipes is so crucial, how many degrees you need to cool the tank, how cold a pint should be or what temperature the pilsner is when they pour it for you.
In addition, Lucie Janečková showed us various styles of tapping. Most often, customers want a smoothie, some order šnyt, but also mlíko or čochtan. And did you know the difference between cut and mixed beer?
If you're a beer lover, you can go to Bílé Kuželka for a tap school, which they hold about twice a month. And if you want to really get into the secrets of this delicious drink, Lucie has prepared a 10-month course with the aptly named Maximum about Beer.
And how do you like to drink beer? Do you like hladinka, šnyt, mlíko or čochtan? And where do you think the best Pilsner is on tap in Prague? Let us know in the comments!
