Thanks Jamie, I can't agree with you more, I just love this time of year with chub fishing being my favourite. However it's posing a little tough at the mo trying to find them sneaky old chub... 🐟🐟
Another fine watch Dave, nice looking Chub that 👍 you have had some nice Perch too.😮 Them Lodden Pike are greedy taking them Worms!! Lol. Nice too see you back on the Hunt for the Chub. Keep the videos coming mate 👍🎣
WyeanglerTV - thanks for watching. Chub fishing is my favourite, nothing beats sitting behind a rod on a cold and frosty morning whilst trying to outwit a crafty old chub.
French Fishing - thank you Thomas , yes it was very cold last Friday. Today we've had some long awaited rain finally. It's rained all day over her in the uk. Hopefully the rivers will fill up now and the fishing will turn on.
Thanks Denis, yeh I know what you mean. Sometimes when it gets that cold I feel like I'll be glad when I'm feed up with it 😂 but the passion for angling takes over... 😀
Great vid there Dave i just went from watching your method feeder fishing vid on the Wye to this and i just have a question. How is your cage feeder attached to your mainline? i'm just wondering how you do it. I see its pretty much a paternoster rig but with a cage feeder instead of a bomb. Is your hook link attached to your mainline using a loop to loop connection? and is the line dangling off your mainline that holds the feeder attached with a snap link swivel, or just a swivel? i see also that you have a swivel joining your feeder onto that line that dangles off. I just cant work out how the eye of the feeder is attached to the eye of the swivel.
Many thanks Markus, yes it was a very clean looking chub and very silver in colour, they do tend to have a bit of a darker colour to them from the loddon I find.
great enthusiasm Dave never to old to get exited about fishing
tight lines :)
Another cracking video, Dave. You can't beat chub fishing around this time of year. Keep up the good work 👍🏻🎣
