Bongga! Simple answer. No beating around the bush. Deserving. Matalino. I love that she takes that unnoticeable, short but deep breath before answering the final question. She gave it all.
She's so smart. To me, she doesn't look like the typical women in the beauty pageant or like the rest of the candidates. She's bold, fierce, and confident with the way she is. She didn't try to impress but to express. And that's what I really like most about her. ☺️❤️

Because they were voting Miss Bohol as a new miss universe but Makati stand out in her all performance especially in q and a portion that's why the fans of Bohol got disappointed and upset to results and still they insisted that bohol is a true winner.. I’ve read a lot of comments about her telling that she doesn’t deserve the crown. Come on, among all other candidates, only Miss Makati answered all the questions straightly forward and no unnecessary words. She has the confidence to win. Stop bashing her.

I move to the States 11 years ago and truly, the best asset and what we could offer Filipinos are us ourselves and our hospitality. I’ve dealt with many races but gosh, nobody as in nobody beats Pinoy when it comes to being warm and hospitable. Hospitality, hospitality, hospitality. We here this all the time for any foreign guests that’s being interviewed on TV. Ang Pinoy sa gitna ng hirap, marunong pa rin ngumiti at lumalaban, hindi sumusuko agad. Masayahin. Simpleng bagay pero masaya pa rin. We always find beauty in anything. We should all be proud of this best quality.

The foreign people I worked with abroad says they love the beaches in the Philippines specially BORACAY, the hospitality & warmth of the people, the happy & enthusiastic attitude of the Filipinos, the love for music & pageantry, the delicious mango & other fruits & the Filipino cuisine ADOBO to say the least. Ms. Dee even nailed it when she says the heart & soul of the Philippines is us Filipinos. So TRUE. The answer is short & simple but ON POINT. You can feel that her answer is coming from the hearth. Closing the gaps between the two which are Income and equality is not an easy task because Filipinos are still subjective in terms of their judgements. We are taught to be reserved at all cost. People need to be educated about defying discrimination against low earner citizens and accepting “the differences” in the society. Rich people always have the edge of getting the best while the poor gets nothing. On the other hand; Gender, sexuality and color are also being discriminated and marginalized in our cruel society. People need to be opened, have understanding and be accepting to avoid gaps.
The best that we could offer to the rest of the world is our innate hospitality and genuine smile. Filipinos are loved because of our high key sensibility and low key profile. We don’t demand more other than be respected and appreciated as a human and as a filipino. 😊
