I moved into Tara Bridges almost 2 years ago and it was 950$ month, now it's 1200$. Maintenance is outstanding here. Quiet.. I moved from California and rent is 3 times as much. People say I live in the hood but, I have lived in the hood ....Compton, Watts, etc. Jonesboro is more like a baby hood. Pretty quiet. No covered parking and extreme weather at times. Georgia is slow. Jonesboro is a hood in the woods. I have no regrets for leaving California, much cheaper to live in Georgia.
5:02 Yes, Clayton County was a place people would move to to raise their kids. It was mainly people who would work in downtown Atlanta. If you check the property records, you will notice most of the houses / apartments in Clayton County were built in the 1950s.
Apartments in the surrounding Atlanta area are all mostly members of an apartment association. They all piggyback off of each other, meaning what one does the others follow. They call repainted units, updated the apartments with the cheapest new refrigerators, and stoves, they may throw in a cheap stackable w/d. They will replace or repaint the windows and paint the parking lots. They will also replace the roofs several times or so and then they will hit you with the rent increases. As you saw in the first apartment when they opened a utility closet there were dead bugs and no new paint in it. That is what you are really renting for $1400. They drop big bucks on the rent office and totally overhaul their office space and use jedi mind tricks with the actual apartments that they are renting out. $1471 is a rip-off/scam price. Most younger renters may not be aware of the square footage that they are paying for has been cut all the way down to nothing in the newer complexes to about $5-600 sq ft for $2500. Just know this those prices are all scam prices. They attempt to wow you with expensive new amenities, but you are losing in sqaure footage. They are squeezing your money out of your pocket, and you do not even know this. Do yourselves a favor and buy a house and build your future with a smart investment.
Aslan on the river had their dam nerve. They want dam near $2000 rent and can't even keep the apartment in a clean manner. They knew you were coming and still did not try to clean up the model. Thanks for putting them on blast, so future would be tenants won't move into a mess. I wonder what other undesirable situations they have going on.
I’m pretty sure somebody viewing the apt pissed on the toilet and they just didn’t know but that’s was it if you from ga you gonna see waterbugs period!
Lol 😂 Jonesboro /Clayton county has been terrible since the 90s. Run!!! 😂😂😂 You should north of atlanta. John creek, Duluth, Cumming, canton are great places to look.
Are you able to look at 2bd apts in the atl, midtown Buckhead area that aren't over 4k slightly above is ok. Looking by myself is tedious and I dont really know the area that well
Those apartments should not be over $800 a month. My apartment in GA was only $400 a month before i moved back to Charlotte NC and now own a house. The struggle is real now bc those prices are ridiculous for those old apartments.
I loved this video! You are the only RUclipsr I could find that tours family friendly units. Can you view some units in Stockbridge,Conyers and Douglasville areas?
I appreciate your apartment tours.. can you show more of the kitchen? Like is it a gas or electric stove?? Let us know if they work with people that have “shaky” credit scores. Lastly, if the area safe for walking, restaurants and grocery stores. Set-up a way to receive payment for your travel time😊? Thank you
@@anthonyw3150 It's been nice since I've been here. No issues, no problems. Idk what part of Jonesboro yall talking about but on my end it's nice. But I'm right at the border line of Hampton as well..
All you’re going to find on the outskirts of any city is renovated old section 8 apartment buildings that they’ve put some laminate floors down, some newish stainless steel appliances(or stick on🤣🤣🤣) and an old bathroom for $1500 congratulations you just played yourself🧐🧐🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️💁🏽♀️💁🏽♀️🤪🤪🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Those apartments look just fine. The prices are not bad at all compared to the DMV area. Old ass “renovated” apartments asking for 1900 for one bedroom one bath.
Lmao girl that’s not a roach that’s a waterbug lol you from jersey you know what a roach look like waterbugs always find their way in homes down here but yeah they’re two different bugs roaches are indoor bugs waterbugs are outdoor bugs they just get lost sometimes
$1,471 a month is nottt good price. I was born and raised in Clayton County. I am currently living in Bello, Antioquia, Colombia… in a 2-bed 2-bath condo on the 30th floor… for $600 a month. And there's more to do in Antioquia Colombia than there is to do in ClayCo.

I really couldn’t believe my eyes. And the leasing agent didn’t seem to care when I told her .. just disgusting 👎🏾
I stayed there in 2005 definitely not worth it then or now 🤷🏾♀️ Atlanta area is 🗑 glad I left

I have a friend that lives in Scarlett Place. They are nice, quiet, and spacious. They are also a second chance property too.
Thanks for the hunt, are you able to check out the Stockbridge, McDonough area. I haven a few favs but they’re a bit pricey (maybe just for me tho)
$1471?? Smh It’s getting ridiculous and only 1 bath
In NYC u probably can't get a studio for that.
