Dead and rotten

Some of you might remember this tree, it was the one from the fungi video.
The land owner was afraid it might fall on it's own soon, and maybe destroy his shed next to it.
Because it was so far rotten, we had to be very careful. The aim was to drop it on the pathway. Carefully cutting towards the centre and onwards to the hinge ,not knowing how strong the wood would still be. So to support everything we used a 3.2 ton winch and many wedges.
