  • Unlock more secrets to harmonica mastery with Howard Levy's groundbreaking methods, compiled in this must-have book, Rhythms of the Breath Vol.2. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro in Blues, Rock, or Jazz, this treasure trove of transformative exercises will take your playing to new heights!
    Vol.2: amzn.to/3vMycrW
    Vol.1: amzn.to/3vFIQAO
Howard Levy, a multiple Grammy Award-winning harmonica virtuoso, has transferred the concepts of Drum Rudiments, a centuries-old collection of right/left hand sticking patterns, to single-note patterns on the harmonica, where they become blow/draw Rhythmic Breathing Patterns. This revolutionary method coordinates and organizes your breathing on harmonica- you will notice a big difference in your playing even after practicing a few of the exercises.
Rhythms of the Breath Vol.1 made a big impact on the harmonica community through its innovative exercises and its exciting new approach to the instrument. This seminal work has catalyzed a paradigm shift in practicing and playing the harp.
In his follow-up book, Rhythms of the Breath Vol.2, Howard delves deeper, exploring more Rhythmic Breathing Rudiments- fascinating, captivating and cool-sounding, full of mind-bending challenges yet fun at the same time. He takes you step-by-step through a comprehensive collection of over 140 exercises and tunes, with lots of helpful (sometimes humorous) advice and detailed explanations, as well as several added features that make everything more complete and accessible:
*140+ exercises and tunes meticulously crafted to enhance your skills.
*Free downloads of 140+ MIDI tracks for all exercises and tunes using a piano sound, that allows you to listen and/or play along clearly; 40+ exercises and tunes played by Howard on harmonica.
*3 levels of exercises catering to all skill levels: Basic, Intermediate (with bends), and Advanced (with bends, overblows/overdraws).
*Enhanced harmonica tabs and musical notation.
*Exercises are written for diatonic harmonica in C (may be played on other key harmonicas as well).
For those ready to expand their horizons, intermediate and advanced level exercises await, pushing the boundaries of what's possible on the harmonica. Even if you're new to bending or overblowing, Howard's engaging exercises will inspire you to learn and grow. Join him on this transformative journey, filled with "lightbulb moments" that will lift your playing to new levels. Whether you're a blues enthusiast, a rocker, or a jazz aficionado, this book is a ticket to harmonica excellence.

Even guys like Jason Ricci have trouble playing that note cleanly so interested why you included that so heavily in the second volume? That'll be a tiny amount of harp players that will be able to do that. Hitting the hole 1 OB is difficult in isolation but grabbing it in a musical passage or exercise takes it to another level.

I bought it Howard and it's great as usual but you included a lot of hole 1 OB's in a lot of the exercises. Not many people can play that note unless they have a super customised harp. So most folks won't be able to play that.

Great news Howard! Is there a lot of overblowing in it? I don't overblow just don't like the technique so if it had a lot of OB's OD's i'd probably give it a miss but if it was like vol 1 i'll buy it for sure.

It has equal amount of exercises for 3 levels- no bends, bends, and OBs. More details on Amazon page (or my website).
