The 2290 takes me back to my training days. Still remember the feel of the keys on this. 2-unit height. Keys were quite spungy compared to regular computer keyboard. It used a sampling frequency of 1 MHz if I'm remember that right. I considered getting this plugin and its controller a while back. My most used is the Vahalla Delay. I use it to create distance first and foremost. Its diffusion is quite useful for that too, and sometimes saves me from having to engage an extra reverb, though all my delay tracks can send to them. Still warming up to Fabfilter Timeless 3 and Newfangled Audio Recirculate. Easy and quick usually wins, and for my stuff Valhalla is pretty good and has all the special fx I may need.
I also noticed you can use it a little bit like the fuzzbox if you set dry/wet to 100%, delay to 1ms and feedback to zero - it's not the same but definitely usable as an effect on other tracks too.
I recently purchased a Boss SDE-3000D pedal (basically the old Roland SDE-3000 in stereo with two engines built-in and loved the sound. It's not a plugin, but there is no SDE-3000 plugin. I'll have to check out that PSP 42!
