BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL , Beautiful. A song with Pure Love. I grew up with playing Neil Diamond s songs. You can feel the Love coming from the Heart ❤️ of Neil.
I met my wife when I was 15 and she was 12. We snuck around back then for about 7 months, then her mom found out and broke us up. We got back together when I was 18 and she was 15. We were together for a year and 7 months back then, before her mom broke us up. Finally, I followed her family from NY to Georgia and when I was 26 and she was 23, her mom could no longer keep us apart. We got married, we were together for the next 23 years (her mom eventually got to like me before we got married..) She bore me 3 beautiful kids. We had a wonderful loving home, until cancer took her from me in 2018. Whenever I hear this song... I mean... it's HER song!! This was HER to me. She was and is, the story of my life!
I've been Neil Diamond fan for years and to watch you react was so made me so happy because you felt it and if you keep listening to Neil you're going to fall in love
This is one of Neil Diamond's many beautiful songs. I hope you'll do some other of his songs but he has a huge catalogue to choose from. Truly one of the greatest singer-songwriters of modern music.
Nice you got touch by Neil Diamond. Try Play Me and Morningside Live. And Cantalibre, The Grass won’t pay no mind. I have been a fan sins 1974 and seen many many concerts. I hope you get touch by the other songs. Goodbye Lady Oh, another song from Neil, Lady Oh.
I love this song. I love Neil Diamond. I grew up listening to his music. There are so many songs of his that I could recommend -- Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show, Holly Holy, Song Sung Blye , I am I Said, Forever In Blue Jeans, Beautiful Noise, Shiloh, and the list goes on. He wrote I'm a Believer, which was from the 60's but popularized by Shrek.
@@TysheenOrane uh oh. You asked so I’ll tell. This one will give you a whole new perspective. It’s called “Yes I Will”... ruclips.net/video/D9Ubw_05XIk/видео.html There is another one called “Be” from the Jonathan Livingston Seagull album. (Which won the Grammy for best Film Score)...
A suggestion ... Neil Diamond's "Morningside" - this is a story of an elderly man who will soon pass but in in his later years he made a table for his children so they would have something to remember him but didn't seem to have much time for him as he aged. It is a beautiful song, it is an emotional song, it is a song that will make you think about your relations with those in your life who are elderly and how much you are involved with them. There are several versions/clips on You Tube of "Morningside" all extremely beautiful and as I age I think of those in my family who have little time for me but I don't have anything to give them to remember me by..
Beautiful song I've heard alot of great diamond songs never heard this before loved it give a listen to his songs solitary man america and love on the rocks
It IS beautiful, isn't it? Even more than a wedding song, I think of it as a funeral song, a good-bye song. It's not depressing, though. It just expresses the feeling that the fullest and best part of the singers life was spent with the other person.
Listen to Neil's Africsn Trilogy. It's about the birth, life & death of a man. It's a beautiful, dynamic piece of music. I think Mozart & Beethoven would be impressed with this work.
I am crying too, it is a beautiful song. Not sure what year he wrote it. He married his girlfriend from school I think, young and they divorced. He also divorced his 2nd wife. I am sure the song was written for one of them. He has 4 kids, 2 with each of them. The kind of life he has had on the road isn't good for a marriage. He is now with his 3rd wife and I am sure they will be together when he passes one day. Whoever he wrote it for I am sure he meant every word at the time.
This was going to be the wedding song for a girl I dated 23 years prior but broke up due to her heavy drinking. We got back together 23 years later and got engaged. She fell off the wagon several times so we broke up again. Alcohol was the other man and took her from me…again.
Love this song, even though I've heard it many times, own it, but still brought tears to my eyes. More Neil please.

To me, it sounds like a break up song and pleading with someone to give him another chance. I always ugly cry at this song.
