The feeder was a gift from Lester. All the cows seem to like it, yours, Jake’s and Lester’s. Lester loves it because he doesn’t have to carry the bags of feed and be out in bad weather.
It’s so nice to see the food buggy rotation between pastures so all the cows can enjoy and graze the grass in between. I miss seeing Ivan & Miracle roaming the back pasture..♥️

Lester thought max bales it would be maybe 50 but Mr Ed predicts max 80. His predictions are pretty spot on. The gifted t-shirt could be for both Tina and Kim. Their great at anything they do. Good morning pawpaw this heat is unreal in Virginia I have been getting up,with the sun to take care of outside chores before the heat sets in I can’t keep up with the watering otherwise Lester said last night they will have a lot of hay bales more than they have ever had before which is wonderful news after the last couple summers where hay was hard to,find and expensive. I am so happy for all the morrows with that blessing it would be quite the blessing if a second hay crop happens.

maybe you and jake could do a feed share your cow get the feeder one week his get it the other week, that way in the off weeks your cows graze the grass. you both can go in halfs on the feed bill. lester shares his feeder with his bulls and cows he would have some info on that and you and jake can see if sharing might work out for you two

Lester shares his feed grain trailer between his bulls and cows. Alternative days. They might eat much grass if they constantly get grains. So sharing with Jake seems a good idea.
Morning PawPaw...thank you for explaining about why Ivan isnt out in the big pasture with the cows...i think he would be ok he was out there before...if it looks like rain just put him in the goat pasture...he just seems lonely in the goat pasture by hisself...he says hes supposed to be out in the back pasture patrolling...ha! PawPaw please tell Bri to watch those kids, im not sure where they were exactly wgen that UPS truck drove up way too fast, but that could have been a bad situation.. maybe put up a watch for children & slow down sign for all the delivery trucks ...he was going too fast...love your tshirt, wear it to the next Sunday dinner & see what Kim does...yall have a good day!
That would be great to get a feeder for winter. Personally, I would only leave it open long enough for them to fill their bellies then close it up until the next feed time or the next day.

That is awesome Jake shared the Grain feeder with you. Ask Lester about the cost he has those for his cows at JL ranch he also got that one for Jake. They make them grain feeders in different sizes from what Lester showed on one of his videos.

Made me laugh Gene. A friend of mine keeps minute cows as pets she only has about 3 or 4 and has a field. She thought it would be nice to have some goats so i think she got half a dozen but they kept escaping and they could not find out where they got out from so reluctantly had to find them a new home - she said they were escape artist made me laugh she loved them so much as well. Gene with regards to the hay im sure everyone will much in and get the hay for you, you can be supervisor 😀

maybe you and jake could do a feed share your cow get the feeder one week his get it the other week, that way in the off weeks your cows graze the grass. you both can go in halfs on the feed bill. lester shares his feeder with his bulls and cows he would have some info on that and you and jake can see if sharing might work out for you two

Morning PawPaw...thank you for explaining about why Ivan isnt out in the big pasture with the cows...i think he would be ok he was out there before...if it looks like rain just put him in the goat pasture...he just seems lonely in the goat pasture by hisself...he says hes supposed to be out in the back pasture patrolling...ha! PawPaw please tell Bri to watch those kids, im not sure where they were exactly wgen that UPS truck drove up way too fast, but that could have been a bad situation.. maybe put up a watch for children & slow down sign for all the delivery trucks ...he was going too fast...love your tshirt, wear it to the next Sunday dinner & see what Kim does...yall have a good day!
That would be great to get a feeder for winter. Personally, I would only leave it open long enough for them to fill their bellies then close it up until the next feed time or the next day.

That is awesome Jake shared the Grain feeder with you. Ask Lester about the cost he has those for his cows at JL ranch he also got that one for Jake. They make them grain feeders in different sizes from what Lester showed on one of his videos.

Made me laugh Gene. A friend of mine keeps minute cows as pets she only has about 3 or 4 and has a field. She thought it would be nice to have some goats so i think she got half a dozen but they kept escaping and they could not find out where they got out from so reluctantly had to find them a new home - she said they were escape artist made me laugh she loved them so much as well.
