    I know this is a few years old but I have to say as someone that grew up in New London but only gets to come home on vacations I really appreciate this excellent video . You really brought me home and I could see all my old play spots on the water as well as my moms condo and the my old high school employer Burrs Yacht Haven . Thank you so much .

    a guy who’s been watching my youtube videos sent me an email a few days ago and told me that he wants to send me a bus ticket to New London Connecticut so i could visit him for a few days. I’m not sure if he’s serious but I really hope he is! :) I always wanted to visit New London Connecticut :)

    How did you get authorization to fly downtown? Last I checked it’s limited to 0 feet

    • @RocketRoberts
      @RocketRoberts  3 года назад

      I didn't... just flew. Probably won't do it again though... so many places have banned drone flying it's hardly worth having one.

      @@RocketRoberts ahh gotcha back then it was al set up differently I’m sure but it’s easy to get authorization most places. Just 0 feet there because it’s the end of a runway

    Nice footage... how many feet high on this flight?

    • @RocketRoberts
      @RocketRoberts  6 лет назад

      300 feet maximum.... airport not too far away so have to keep things low.

      @RocketRoberts  5 лет назад

      Had to keep it fairly low, Groton airport (very small) is not too far. 200 ft typical altitude.

    A fallen city, the founders of that place would be ashamed, I know I am

      When I first went there in 1983, I said my God is this place a dump. It has cleaned up somewhat since then but it still has some pretty bad areas
