- In April 2019, Manuel Franco, 24, of West Allis was revealed Tuesday as the winner of the $768.4 million Powerball jackpot. Franco stopped at the Speedway gas station in New Berlin and bought $10 worth of Powerball tickets like he had many times before, letting the machine pick his numbers. One of those tickets was the single $768.4 million Powerball jackpot winner.

I told my son to buy a couple of tickets the day of the previous drawing (jackpot was 650 million then). Later that night, he checked the tickets. He had three out of five and the power ball number. He was only off the other two numbers by one number. It was CRUSHING. Well, back to work in the salt mines.
