Rogers Hall used to have the most awesome outdoor basketball courts about 20 years ago. I don't know if it's still there. I grew up on an indigenous reservation in rural AZ where basketball is very popular. I was a real "Indian" who rooted for the Seminoles. I am glad the tribe approved the symbol. Out west, a lot of indigenous students protest against that. But the Seminoles of Florida actually embraced FSU's usage. It's awesome to see a real Native American basketball player from Montana on the FSU Basketball team. Basketball is very popular on the reservations, but due to racism the indigenous basketball stars usually didn't get recruited. But that has finally started to change. I met most of my FSU friends at Tully Gym during IM games. I met my female FSU friend at the "Leach" gym - a blonde southern belle.

Dorms are FSU seems so much bigger than UF omg. My sister goes to UF (she’s in an apartment now but was in dorm first year) and it was very very small, felt like a jail cell 😭

Your daughters will love it at FSU they party a lot I never went here but my annoying older sister Sophie is an alumni and she loved it she was on the Cross Country and Track team for the school and majored in Nursing and I was able to fly down to visit her a few times throughout her 4 years in her suite and I walked around the campus with her her roommates and there friends it was a beautiful campus the weather is really warm and it had awesome beaches I ate in the dining hall with her as well the food was pretty good I would have gone here I just wanted to go somewhere closer to home unlike her because we’re from Pennsylvania

If your room temp is so cold and you have a thermostat, why don't you set it to be warmer?
We can’t adjust it. Even if you try and increase the temp it doesn’t change it :(

Nice video. My daughter starts at FSU in June and just found out she will be in Magnolia Hall. It looks nice. I started FSU in 96 and was in Kellum Hall (It’s since been demolished). I wouldn’t have wished that place on my worst enemy. Glad the dorms look a bit newer now.
One part of the room is blue the other is yellow, a beautiful mix!

Yes we coordinated who was bringing what ahead of time! The mirror sticks to the door! Hope your daughter loves it and is excited!!
