I loved this vlog so much. Grandpa is a handsome man. I don’t know why some Africans refuse to learn and follow a lot of their traditions. It’s sad that a lot of it it’s being lost and even the language is not being taught to the children. Nelo you are very open minded and avant guard is your thinking but this in this area you are not. Please teach you children their culture. Make them know who they are. When you meet Asians living all over the world you will observe that their children know their language and culture despite the fact that they are in other countries. Why must have Africans in Africa and outside want to assimilate to other cultures! Anyway, at the end of the day to each their own! You are still a great mother regardless.

We learn everyday, as Igbo Man I love whatever we do to add our cultural signs because it matters alot , especially for one who travels around the world meeting all kinds of people that speaks igbo language without been in Nigeria or having igbo friends, but from watching Nigeria movies 🎥🍿, which many of these people from Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Brazil, Dominican Republic and even Venezuela people love watching Nigeria movies, from my personal experience meeting these people from that part's of the world 🌎 and they try speak little igbo language whilst they thought is Nigeria language, only few of them knows that it's igbo language. So it's a things of pride to wear your language and culture wherever you go, Yorubas are very good on that, no matter where they live in London, America I born and raised in western world they speak Yoruba Both inside and outside their home 🏠, even on national TV like Arise Tv, Channels Tv and the rest you will hear Rufai or Dr Abati on daily basis use their language to narrate stories. Only igbo girls hide their identity, both home and abroad...but the bitter truth is that they can be more English than the British, whereby the western world mostly respect people who respect their culture ..yes.. because they feel your more honest and sincere...look the Indian's, Chinese, even some African countries that speaks their language with pride at any occasion.. thanks 👍
