I can confirm, Eggman can control a lot of the battlefield once you place down all your Turrets in good placements and have the EXE at gunpoint (you can easily rotate them to a decent point)
@@EpictoneJuker my favorite quality of the turrets is that if sonics in range even once, theyll track him until the turrets are removed in some way. i took advantage many times to find my teammates

tier list: edit: THIS IS 1.2 SCORING, I WROTE THIS A FEW HOURS BEFORE 1.3 TAILS SOLO: C+ TEAM: B tails is alright, he has his mobility and he has his arm cannon, i hate the delay but at least it does stun for more now, nothing else to say, he works well with the team. KNUCKLES: SOLO: S- TEAM: S+ i main knuckles, have been for a couple of years. he's easily the biggest brawler of the characters, his kit is designed about 1v1ing and is MUCH better if you have a good sally or cream, bc you're easily stalling for a lot longer than him if you have a couple 100 more hp or have a shield. the buff was also very cool EGGMAN SOLO: E- TEAM: C- worst mobility in the game, if he targets you in a open area you die, or at all you die. turrets barely hinder exe and people saying it takes time off exe's chase are dumb, any other support does that and better. the increased hitbox is still there, which for the most complex and worst character in td history, isn't very good. the fact that outlaik nerfed his shock to oblivion by making it stun for 2 seconds in the prototype really shows that he has it out for eggman mains across the world AMY SOLO: A- TEAM: A amys a good stunner, she can easily knock exe off any ledge if he's stunned as he can't block. decent main stun, just a worse punch and hammer throw is better than old. the hammer bounce removal did nerf her though. CREAM SOLO: B+ TEAM: A+ the heal change is VERY controversial , but in my opinion its worse and better in some situations, if someones being chased, IT IS 100% BETTER as the old heal wouldn't save people, also using it when grabbing is way easier and will stall for more time. overheal's main flaw is the range, you should always use it where exe has to take awhile to get to you like on a ledge. her solo survivability is alright as speed does what you'd think it'd do, waste time. it is a 100% guaranteed timewaster, but after that you're basically dead because of the long cooldown. SALLY SOLO: A TEAM: S- shield is always great, emp is mediocre because of the delay forcing you to get juked and waste it, but at least its much better than roll. not really much to say, shes a great support but dont give shield infront of exe because you will be targeted. SHADOW SOLO: S TEAM: B his abilities really aren't that good when it comes to teams, as they stun for less than prototype shock and are only really that good for saving a grab quickly. don't waste them jumping in, you should NEVER double stun unless it ensures him getting knocked FAR away as it leaves you extremely weak because of his incredibly long cooldowns. anyways he's one of the best characters by just stalling, you should 90% of the time use your abilities as mobility, you basically have 2 boosts and you will STALL exe to insane measures, only works if your solo though or you're getting mega targeted. ROUGE SOLO: B- TEAM: A she's alright, built for teams and can be VERY useful at times, if you land flashbang its one of the best stuns in the game in certain situations. but it all counts if you hit it though, because if not you're basically dead. METAL SONIC SOLO: A- TEAM: S+ can easily get off a double stun (push + grapple) to throw him off ledges, or just use grapple normally, he's REALLY good and can save from grab, chases and basically anything and his push can even be used as mobility. his 150 health isnt really that big as people make it up to be, and can be completely redundant cough cough charge cough cough at some points. great character, better than knuckles when paired with teams, as he can run off with EXE while being healed or shielded. SILVER SOLO: B TEAM: B+ hes mid. orb feels great to land but stuns for a solid 0.1 second, speed boost is useful, barrier is alright, he's overall just mid BLAZE: SOLO: B- TEAM: B+ you have to walk in with heatwave against an exe or you cannot get it off, as its a pretty bad move, not even stunning for long, both of her stuns having this quality, shes decent, just decent. thats it good job if you have anything you wanna say just reply to this also these guys' opinion is whack, cream in d+? are you insane??
im gonna be honest, as a tails main rouge's sensors help me out a ton, it helps me see the exe so itseasier to land shots and i also main rouge, the bomb is really good in groups, like at the edge after a spring is the best so they just go right back down, flashbang and slide is a great one

I'm a Cream main, and I can agree with the rankings regarding how her abilities are used. However, I do miss the fact that Heal was removed from the game. Still, she is a decent character and probably the only one I will ever play. This is not even related to what I'm saying but I have not used Silver Blaze or Metal ever since they released I'm not someone who will play characters that are added and make it difficult for me to play
I didnt know this was now and i thought it was a long time ago Tip: for classic sonic.exe if you hold m1 or f for long you can get boost to hit the survivors
For newer players, I would prioritize some of these characters. Knuckles is easy to play as he has a playstyle of landing your stun and when sure that you're going to be hit by an attack, using block, you have low CD and your main weakness is being impatient and wasting all your abilities, thus putting you on cooldown. Shadow is one of my mains and fairly easy to play as both of his moves are multi class, if you're being rushed by an exe, you can easily use homing attack and land it by using it right as activate it, you can predict some exe movements to use it at medium range rather than close range, and can easily support your team and then run away, as both of your moves knockback, for newer players, if they are constantly missing boost's stomp, I would only use that as a mobility, while homing attack should nearly always be played as an offense move while being hunted. Silver is also one of my mains, and with using orb fast and or sniping by predicting movements, you can be very useful, canceling abilities and saving your teammates from range, you also have a speed boost that speeds everyone around you up greater than it does to you, but you can still technically use it when you're alone to get away, and barrier is used to block off exe, to defend yourself from a linger attack or to protect others by using barrier, as well as limit spaces exe can go, you can use barrier to juke as well. Tails for starters is great because if you learn to hit your shots (with the delay), then you can snipe from very far away and have a mobility move to fly across the map, its best to stay on high ground and always remain cautious, try to predict some movement with the slight delay and also juke pretty often, you'll have to get used to juking often. I would never use Amy for newer users, I know because I also main Amy, Amy has a rather complicated arsenal as not one mobility move, you can stun quite long and make combos, and have your team support you, but your hammer throw is gravity inflicted, meaning you'll have to use logical aiming to snipe or hit if they are not close, you can be easily punished by missing hammer spin and if you miss all your attacks, your long cooldowns will force you to juke for a very long time, you also have to get very used to juking to play Amy. Just to say. Tails would normally be very bad in solo unless you can juke very good. Tails is good in teams. Knuckles is very good for solo, and has a very good defense and offense ability. Knuckles is lower in teammate because he doesn't have the best capabilities to save people, and time and bait punch would be decently hard for newer players to do. Shadow is good in solo and teams, not much to say here. Silver is better in a team but you can still win as solo, but you'll have to juke quite a lot and use orb and hit every single orb, your orb has a decently low cooldown, so use that to your advantage.
Hot take: i think Hammer Bounce is worse than Hammer Spin. Remember, the point of the game is stalling. Sure, Hammer Bounce was good for gaining ground, but the problem is if an exe expected it and the fact it isn't all that great as people make it seem. Since it realizes on higher ground to truly be useful, this does limit the ability based on the map. Personally, i like Hammer Spin more because it's unblockable, fast, and a good push away the exes. People say it's predictable, but it's only predictable if you act predictable with it, like running directly at the exe. I find it to be a good punisher move against confident exes, and whenever i play as exe, i do my best to try and outsmart amy thanks to the fact she has three stuns. Overall, i like hammer spin more because three stuns can be very useful and buys more time than two stuns and a mobility that relies on your height. Hammer bounce isn't a bad ability, but i simply like hammer spin more.
Hammer Spin can be punished VERY HARD ( Grab, Normal Hit ) , the amount of times i grabbed Amies/ Amys (idk) because the move is unbelievable. The spin doesnt even do much and can be recovered from easily. “What if you push somebody off an edge?” Would make it, guess what, MAP DEPENDENT, just like Hammer Bounce
@CorvusTheMonke nah man, you good. I can tell you care for the game. I will admit, I tend to forget the flaws of hammer spin due to me not playing amy too often. I just find it a bit annoying when I hear people say how useless hammer spin is whenever they act predictable with it. I know it's just my taste, but I'd rather have a third punishing stun than a mobility that relies too much on verticality. One thing I will admit is yes, both are map dependent, but I personally find that hammer spin is less map dependent as it's job is to punish an overconfident exe or be a follow-up whenever your team is working together. Honestly, I find hammer spin is a really good move that people just use wrong. Rather than try to directly go after the exe like blazes fire tornado or any other stun, you wanna catch the exe off guard with it when he thinks you're defenseless. Plus, it clears away minions, and the simple knock back can give you precious seconds in a game where seconds determine your victory as much as a good team does. Overall, what you said is very true, and I will admit I do tend to overlook the downsides since I personally would rather have three stuns (even if I can't land hammer throw to save my life.) I do appreciate your respectfulness too.
Tbh, I think silver and blaze could get buffed. Maybe silver's speed radius should be a teensy bit faster or get be to use some sort of beam that silver can grab his teamates towards em but idk about that to due to people being able to abuse it if so for blaze just make her stuns more consistent quicker cool downs maybe? PS:if u don't like this it's ok 😅
honestly i think they should remove the heatwave charge and make it instant! also increasing the time to hit exe with it from 10 seconds to at least 15 she'd be better ^_^
Honestly, after relearning Eggman being someone who mained him since Remake TD… He’s honestly better in terms of helping the team more, Turrets can help at any distance. Yet all it takes is one Minion to tunnel your Turrets and you’re a sitting duck. Plus he’s horrible as solo wise unless you really know what your doing (already set up Turrets in good placements and know each and every route ingame) All we can really hope is Eggman gets a buff to his Turrets being able to switch targets from minions or EXE at the least.
Silver has semi map/team dependancy, on eggman's map there is a ladder/fall that he can consistently block off to buy time for himself and waste sonic's and the low cooldown on orb makes it great for interruptions. Speed radius is underestimated in my opinion, as it makes you faster than a kolossus that isn't using LMBs to get closer and as said combining that with turrets is a great mix. As for shadow he can apparently turn now while using boost? Dunno if that was a change or has always been there but yeah.
Amy main here, I pretty much see her ranking there pretty alright, I may have never gotten a personal experience with hammer bounce but i can't lie, it does seem sort of better than hammer spin. (albeit very map situational) They both have they're own situational uses, hammer bounce can give you an oppurtunity to get high ground and hammer spin can push away the exe, even knocking them off high ground sometimes, but from using it alot it doesnt seem as effective as hammer bounce, the stun and push is pretty short WITH endlag, and not to mention the moments when Amy just ended that slow spinning animation and the exe already got up to go hit you. Though I can kind of say it might be easier to get a combo on exe with it alongside the other abilities. but even so (like said in the video), hammer attack & throw are very consistent aslong as you don't miss too often which makes Amy a pretty good character! so putting her smack dab In the middle seems like a good spot for Rose.
as ranking exes is based on gameplay style isnt really possible, more of seeing how fast an exe can kill a single target then a group of 3 is probably the best way to rank them (apart from ability usage overall)
guys, now that we are in the future, i can say, TAILS DOLL IS BROKEN, he just is really good, flight is just really broken no matter how you picture it because it gives a speed boost plus you can ignore bounce pads and go straight to the survivor, slash is a little underwhelming especially since it isn't going to deal as much dmg as his base attack, however with how fast Tails Doll is it's just way too good atm, plus if you can clear gaps other exes cant do that immediately makes him better just due to the fact he spends less time getting around so yeah :/ balancing needed
I know this is yalls opinion but i feel like cream got buffed cause her past healing was absolutely trash and useless for me yeah its permanent but you had like a 40 sec cooldown just for them to still get 2 shotted by big exe and you had to heal them twice which just,,,isnt very good like you had more teammates to heal but for me A-S tier
Sally after the update is op and Rouge just got a lil buff but still she is only useful when you try to support(I main her I know what I am talking about).also her flash is op with bigger hitbox.
What I dont really like is that Knuckles yeah he can be very good but hes very hard to play, especially in public servers if the exe has ping it's just a nightmare, so realistically I think that just brings his value down, I find more often than not easier to stun with everyone else but him. Just my take tho.

UPDATE IS OUT U NEED A NEW TIERL- jk eggman has a zapper that makes the exe slower and sally has shieldswitch she can switch threw fire and water water makes them jump higer and fire makes them do a short dash

the lowest id put eggman would be in B. his only flaw is hes defenseless beyond repair, and ive learned the turrets pretty well for me to enjoy it.

I know it's just my taste, but I'd rather have a third punishing stun than a mobility that relies too much on verticality. One thing I will admit is yes, both are map dependent, but I personally find that hammer spin is less map dependent as it's job is to punish an overconfident exe or be a follow-up whenever your team is working together. Honestly, I find hammer spin is a really good move that people just use wrong. Rather than try to directly go after the exe like blazes fire tornado or any other stun, you wanna catch the exe off guard with it when he thinks you're defenseless. Plus, it clears away minions, and the simple knock back can give you precious seconds in a game where seconds determine your victory as much as a good team does. Overall, what you said is very true, and I will admit I do tend to overlook the downsides since I personally would rather have three stuns (even if I can't land hammer throw to save my life.) I do appreciate your respectfulness too.
Tbh, I think silver and blaze could get buffed. Maybe silver's speed radius should be a teensy bit faster or get be to use some sort of beam that silver can grab his teamates towards em but idk about that to due to people being able to abuse it if so for blaze just make her stuns more consistent quicker cool downs maybe?

honestly i think they should remove the heatwave charge and make it instant! also increasing the time to hit exe with it from 10 seconds to at least 15 she'd be better ^_^

Honestly, after relearning Eggman being someone who mained him since Remake TD…
He’s honestly better in terms of helping the team more, Turrets can help at any distance.
Yet all it takes is one Minion to tunnel your Turrets and you’re a sitting duck.
Plus he’s horrible as solo wise unless you really know what your doing (already set up Turrets in good placements and know each and every route ingame)
All we can really hope is Eggman gets a buff to his Turrets being able to switch targets from minions or EXE at the least.
Well Zapper was the missing piece to Eggman’s kit.
Silver has semi map/team dependancy, on eggman's map there is a ladder/fall that he can consistently block off to buy time for himself and waste sonic's and the low cooldown on orb makes it great for interruptions. Speed radius is underestimated in my opinion, as it makes you faster than a kolossus that isn't using LMBs to get closer and as said combining that with turrets is a great mix.
As for shadow he can apparently turn now while using boost? Dunno if that was a change or has always been there but yeah.

Amy main here, I pretty much see her ranking there pretty alright, I may have never gotten a personal experience with hammer bounce but i can't lie, it does seem sort of better than hammer spin. (albeit very map situational)
They both have they're own situational uses, hammer bounce can give you an oppurtunity to get high ground and hammer spin can push away the exe, even knocking them off high ground sometimes, but from using it alot it doesnt seem as effective as hammer bounce, the stun and push is pretty short WITH endlag, and not to mention the moments when Amy just ended that slow spinning animation and the exe already got up to go hit you.
Though I can kind of say it might be easier to get a combo on exe with it alongside the other abilities. but even so (like said in the video), hammer attack & throw are very consistent aslong as you don't miss too often which makes Amy a pretty good character! so putting her smack dab In the middle seems like a good spot for Rose.
as ranking exes is based on gameplay style isnt really possible, more of seeing how fast an exe can kill a single target then a group of 3 is probably the best way to rank them (apart from ability usage overall)

guys, now that we are in the future, i can say, TAILS DOLL IS BROKEN, he just is really good, flight is just really broken no matter how you picture it because it gives a speed boost plus you can ignore bounce pads and go straight to the survivor, slash is a little underwhelming especially since it isn't going to deal as much dmg as his base attack, however with how fast Tails Doll is it's just way too good atm, plus if you can clear gaps other exes cant do that immediately makes him better just due to the fact he spends less time getting around so yeah :/ balancing needed
I know this is yalls opinion but i feel like cream got buffed cause her past healing was absolutely trash and useless for me
yeah its permanent but you had like a 40 sec cooldown just for them to still get 2 shotted by big exe and you had to heal them twice which just,,,isnt very good like you had more teammates to heal but for me A-S tier
Tbh in my opinion I'm putting Amy in S due to if you time it perfectly you can do a 3 hit stun in one attack
Also...blaze in A is only because 90% of players have too much adhd to wait a bit using blaze's abilities
Sally after the update is op and Rouge just got a lil buff but still she is only useful when you try to support(I main her I know what I am talking about).also her flash is op with bigger hitbox.

What I dont really like is that Knuckles yeah he can be very good but hes very hard to play, especially in public servers if the exe has ping it's just a nightmare, so realistically I think that just brings his value down, I find more often than not easier to stun with everyone else but him. Just my take tho.
