After I watched this video, I went to the grocery store and a woman at the counter bent over and a bunch of stolen things accidentally fell out of her sweater. A sad sign of the times.
Because I watch you regularly, I knew to call the deed compliance office when we put the contract on the house we're buying. I asked if there were any violations on the home. They said there were not.

Have a new friend who is buying a new home in The Villages and one of the things I told her was don't do anything on the outside of the house unless you run it by ARC. Well, I have heard you say a million times that you can't buy a home and assume it's in compliance, people buying from out of the area aren't necessarily watching your videos and may not know. Many places the realtors are required to let the buyer know that the house is out of compliance if they are aware. So I think people assume that it's the same here. Very sad for these people really. Tonight I have a car parked in front of my house that I don't recognize. I thought it's one of my neighbors kid's. Then I thought of all the kids getting into trouble in the villages, so I went and took pictures of the car and the license plate. 😂
Skip, Love your show, and didn't realize you have lived here so long. Me and my wife 18 years so far. You usually tell it like it is...and I like that. They only difference about you and me, is you don't curse as much as I do. LOL @RobertKnauerUnfiltered.
I am a retired trucker, but I do try to mussel myself , or Sue pulls me back.. I've been coming here and met Harold Swartz when Spanish Springs was the only square.
Everybody in the villages should remember this is Florida. You’re allowed to carry a concealed weapon for your own protection.. and if you do, please be willing to use it
Why do the Villages homes not require a occupancy inspection by all the parties required to do so! When you come from another state and buy a home in another state, you think that your title inspection company would cover you for the types of things you are telling us Skip! Is this a loophole in Florida Law?
Yeah, that's quite a coincidence that the judge that sentenced Orin Miller to jail is now stepping down. Good-ole-boys club? Mr Miller deserves back pay for all the days he was not able to work.
Just saying, when you are dating, or our harboring a guy that has tear drop tat toes on each eye, I do not think I would invite him home to meet my family!e
That Charlotte looked scary as heck I think you are right those items are someone who needs help can’t afford it? 😮Skip you missed your calling you should have been a newsman.. you you should come up with a name like RoseannRoseannadana did 😂 I think the Villages needs gates like OTOW it isn’t fair for you all who pay amenities fees and bonds to take care of your roads to have to “share” with the public oh you got a puppy? Yeah for you
I hear the squares are open to outsiders and not only the Villages? This is wrong, you have enough people to support all the food venues and other businesses in the Villages!
On a practical note, how would this ever be enforced? The roads leading to the town squares and going through the town squares are public roads. The Villages is a community with gates. It is not a gated community.
There are some really scary looking people lurking in the Villages and now you have outsiders using the pools. I think if the Villages wasn’t advertised as such a wonderful community by the developers and people like Jerry and Linda, many people wouldn’t sell their homes and everything they’ve worked so hard for to move there. I know I’m having some serious second thoughts thanks to your news updates because reality is, it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be except for the amenities it seems but nobody records using them. They are all sitting at home in their house or showing photos of food that really doesn’t look all that appetizing for the price. Skip, you said yourself that people move there and then complain when they find out it’s not like they thought it would be. I wonder, do you have any regrets about moving there now? You spoke about your old home on porch sitting. I don’t want to move to the Villages and then miss where I live now like that. I watch Jerry and Linda share stories about their home in Indiana all the time and they seem to miss it a lot. They won’t say of course but look in their eyes. Linda seems sad behind that smile and everyone knows the eyes don’t lie.

None that I know of...This is a problem the every realtor needs to address..
