In many ways Ole Miss was lucky. This is a very young UConn team that has yet to really establish what they can and cannot do. Paige was often on the floor with two freshmen and two sophomores. Smartly Ole Miss took advantage of UConn's inexperience and well bashed them in the the 3rd quarter by increasing their intensity on both ends of the floor and getting contributions from the arc from some players that never shoot well from outside. But in reality, UConn won 3 quarters of the game handily. Ole Miss was lucky in that El Alfy didn't play 30 minutes and Azzi Fudd is still coming off injury and didn't start. They were also lucky that two McDonald all stars were still injured, one of which is perhaps the best 6th person off the bench in WCBB. This UConn team will be a different team come Championship time.
She can help with their identity crisis if she stay off social media. She be on social media more than team trying to go viral. Starts with u coach, u need to lock in. U don't see Dawn geno or Mulkey parading all the time on social media.
This coach is delusional. She tries to hard to be in the great company of geno mulkey n Dawn. She has no offense n won't win until she gets offensive weapons. Same story with her for 3 years.
Sorry but Coach here was delusional,,,With a team like UCONN and their outside scorers, you make a choice, guard up on the outside, limiting 3's which gives the other team access to the basket. If Ole Miss played off them limiting their drives to the basket, UCONN would have rained down 3's!
UConn fan. Nothing but respect for this coach and the program she's building.
Uconn fan here. I Like this well spoken coach. Her team will only get better.
I like this coach. will be a good year for Ole MIss WCBB.
I Love coach O !!!!
I like how focused she is on her team's execution and controlling what they can control
Easy layups due to UConn’s exceptional ball movement
And they played the 3's tight, which let UCONN drive by them, this is the tough choice all UCONN"S opponents will have this year
@ it’s good news for UConn that we can win when the 3’s are not dropping.
