A card I'm really testing is Rescue Ferret. If you can summon Cherubini without wasting your normal summon you can can get literally any 2 monsters from your deck. A pk and ba, a rhino and ba, etc.
Commenting on one point you made toward the end of the video; Ash/veiler no longer necessarily ends BA's turn, because BA now has the ability to play instant fusion to summon any card from the level 3 fusion pool. While the monster summoned might not be impactful on its own (like Norden), as every one of the level 3 instant fusion targets are vanillas, BUT their presence does mean that BA has access to a free extender which simultaneously fixes the problem of losing to handtraps (flying c, veiler, ash, etc.). With the new link being generic, you can fix what would normally be a turn-ending / game losing situation, into one where you can summon the Dark Angel, potentially dump a graff to get cir, then play a BA from hand or another extender, to set up some kind of board presence. The new link monster fixes most of the deck's current problems, and it gives it the ability to abuse a ton of cards outside of the BA archetype. This is extremely exciting, however, my guess is that 1) Classic BA/BAPK control will still be the optimal way to play the deck, despite the amount of absurd shenanigans it can achieve and 2) the deck will either be sufficiently power crept into irrelevancy by the time we finally get this, or the deck will resultantly be hit either directly or indirectly -- thus likely pinning the final nail in Dante's long-avoided coffin.
Open 2 BA + Phantom of Chaos: special both BA's, make the link, send Rhino, send Norleras, summon Phantom, nuke the field. That leaves you 2 other cards in your hand to do something with that helps you recover from the nuke, preferably more BA's to summon Dante. Also: RESCUE FERRET hell yeah :)
this new link monster does wonders for magnet warriors for its generic level 3 support, it helps dump magnets on grave to go on berserkion a lot easier and it protects him too. a new staple on the extra deck
Broken? ...Nope. It has to at least be on the level of Beatrcie to be considered broken. But the card is really good though. The best part of it is that its generic for any Lv3 deck.
I haven’t watched the video yet, but I wanted to point out that the most broken link from this set is by far the cryston one. The reason being is that you can drop gofu, make linkuriboh with one of the tokens, make the cryston link with linkuriboh and gofu, special glow up bulb from deck, tribute glow up to SS linkuriboh from grave, SS glow up from grave with its own eff and then link everything into skullbat to draw 4 and shuffle back 3. You now have 6 cards in hand a normal+special summon from hand and a 2800 body on field.
As a Blue Eyes player i'm more fan of the Cryston one Sp Summon Gofu, link Gofu + token for the Cryston link, Sp Summon a stone from the deck, Melody for Bewd and Alternative, Sp Summon Alternative, Link 4 for the 4 name link monster, draw 4 discard 3, or link the cryston, the token and the stone for the same link 4, and Sp Summon Bewd from the hand, then Xyz for number 38, two 1/2 cards for a negate and a beater link who opens 3 EMZ, and another Bewd during the end phase, pretty nice i guess x)
Burning abyss is the only archetype that can do all of the special summons types. There is a Ritual Burning Abyss, Dante Pilgrim of the burning abyss is the fusion, Dante traveler of the burning abyss and Beatrice are the xyz monsters, Virgil rock star of the burning abyss is a synchro monster and now Cherubini is the link monster

The lightsworn one is actually really easy to summon in BA you can use the link, a BA and a PK. Im also trying to think of a way to summon Firewall and link it with a card because you can use Ferret to summon Fairy tail snow and Maxx C then use firewall to recycle Maxx as a sort of defensive T1 link turn.
Got it! all you need are 2 BAs and A ferret. So you special the 2 BAs, then drop the link monster dumping dandylion. Now you normal summon Ferret and use its effect for Fairy tail Snow and Maxx C.now use the BA link and 2 dandy tokens for fire wall. Now use Maxx and fairy tail for code talker. Activate firewall to recycle Maxx. Set backrow, win game.
I actually don't mind the name "PK Fire" for the deck, but anyways I'm so happy about this card, it's everything us BA players where hoping for, it's perfect! I'm not even mad about it's 500 atk, as long as I can protect it using it's effect to keep using the 3rd effect as you said. I am however curious about the ruling on that effect, I hadn't thought about it how you said with it not having a def stat.. But either way, this card is great, I can't wait for it to get to tcg!!! Another Interesting thing that you can make this with is Doomdog Octhros. Summon it off Tour Guide/Search with Scarm/Sangan. When it gets used as material, you can search Grinder Golem. It's good that Angel didn't send a level 3 as part of its effect, otherwise, you could search Infernity Archfiend off of Archfiend Heiress and do this the following turn: ruclips.net/video/w95OeI1EqjM/видео.html Also, going back to the Predaplant Engine, it is a 1-card ladder from this into the Lightsworn Link monster (Predaplant play to search Instant Fusion, Summon Angel with the Predaplants, Angel's effect to send Dandylion, Dandy Summons tokens, Turn 1 token into Linkuriboh, Use IF to summon a DARK monster from the Extra, Use Angel, Linkuriboh, and the DARK Fusion to go into the Lightsworn Link + you still have 1 token). Not sure how useful such a play is, but it should be fairly consistent since you can start it with Lonefire and having a new Lavaval Chain warrants some testing anyway.
Brother Bear I don't know if your being serious but I always thought of Dark Worlds as the enemies of Lightsworn. Light vs Dark, big dragon boss monsters, both get effects via gimmicky shenanigans. Burning Abyss has kind of of its own little self contained lore. The Malebranch are sort of the enemies of Dante & Virgil.

well, from a lore standpoint, the darkworld monsters invade the realm of light which is where the twilightsworn come from. but yes, ba and lightsworn do seem kinda similar enough that they'd probably get into a metaphorical dick measuring contest with each other, lol.
One aspect of cherubini that comes up frequently in my testing is when, going first, you pass with something along the lines of Cheru pointing at a Dante with some backrow, and you flip up a mistake or anti spell, and it turns out to be not particularly useful in the matchup, you can send it to protect itself, and free up it backrow for more BA summons. Also really good at enabling boards of itself, Beatrice, and borreload.
I really hope Terrortop goes back to 3. It went to 1 as collateraldamage in early Zoo format, making me stop play my favourite Deck so far (Windwitch Speedroid).
Realistically, it would still act as a free link monster, so I doubt it'd go back to 3. Now, if they made a really good search card, so only Speedroid decks could search Terrortop, then at least it would be consistent in its own archetype. But as it stands, it's too good as a standalone card while it's at 3.
Ice bell was just konami's way of saying "we fucked up with terrortop, have this please". Only realistic way I could see terrortop back would be to have him be restricted to speedroids only. Basically, I want tour guide at 2 or 3 cause it eats your normal summon
Terrortop would not be used as an instant link in anything but ba. However, it would still be used as instant rank 3 in many many decks. I play speedroid, was my first deck when i cwme back, and i absolutely love it. If ttop had the wind witch restriction, itd be so great. But i also know its not a healthy card outside of its intended archetype and i as well as most used it in so so many decks. Itd make my life if they erratad it tho
Another cool note is that sending Dandylion also gives access to Ningirsu and Borreload instead of just Firewall. Also the new Link 4 Dragon in Extreme force when that rolls around.
Megidrus Well I would summon the dantes first and then farfa it back to the main monster zone so I can make my 3rd dante in the extra monster zone. I will also tributing it with infernoids to accomplish the same goal.

It's about an effect that targets a link monsters and modifies both its ATK and DEF. Tour Bus can also be used to recycle your used Beatrice.
I dont think Rhino is as gud as u think it is, I only run it so i can still play BA with links, but i had cut it out b4 links released. It honestly only rlly thins out the deck, sure if it gets milled it can be any ba monster u want but for the sake of summoning it with tour guide is a bit redundant if ur just gonna send a ba monster to grave after it hits grave, might as well have it be that ba monster to begin with, and it slows down ur plays if u draw into it, and he isnt as needed since the BA Link monster will prevent ur ba's from self destructing just as long as it points to them.
First off, there's basically no chance of them getting a second link. Second, people would actually need to start playing Cherries to counter this card, which also won't happen.
+Bucket Suu Do you even know what you are saying? Ocg plays Cherries quite frequently specifically to have an out againt Spyrals and ABC. IF the ba Link monster will become problematic, cherries will just have another target added to the list.

That's not what I said. I said they need to play Cherries as a counter to this card, which would require them to waste an extra deck slot as well.
Honestly the Crystron link second effect doesn't seem very generic to me... there aren't many archetypal Synchro Tuners... I guess there's Coral Dragon and Tatsunoko and Formula and stuff but I feel like other Synchro archetypes probably won't use that particular effect. Like, Karakuris don't seem to want Tuner Synchros even thiugh they're also a Synchro Machine deck.
I dunno. It seems to be too much like the pre-existing Burning Abyss style. It's a consistent card but doesn't provide the archetype with a big monster to actually win with.
No mention of Crane Crane or Dark Eruption to recycle everything like Tour Guide, Graff, Kuribandit, or Necroface if you're using Desires+Gold Sarc? Yeah, Ghost Ashe stops everything....so what?
in the combo with fiendish rhino warrior, why not tourguide straight into graff literally the same combo minus wasting the rhino you might need later in the game to protect your other ba from non ba links
Could you put a monster that has the effect no monster can be targeted except for itself to be destroyed by battle by the direction of Cherubini's link arrow in defense position so they can't be destroyed and you can't target Cherubini then you summon a boss monster to finish the job?
Broken? Dumping a Rhino on your turn extends plays, but it's not even a quick effect. This means it's gonna be a 500 ATK target for the opponent and it can't even defend. Plus, it should have had an effect like Rhino that protected the BA monsters from self-destructing, but...at least it's a Fire Lake target.
In my opinion, they really just needed something to allow double Dante again, which this does. It also protects B.A's and procs B.A effects upon summon. That and it has a free Foolish effect.
Ok please tell me how BA breaks a well established SPYRAL board without sacking into drawing unsearchable board wipes and handtraps. Please do tell, becuase i fail to see it, SPYRAL is just super consistant and can grind really hard.
Gshiin Spyral won't be doing shit if they can't go first- it's always been a dice roll format so BA may have a hard time breaking another big board but the deck can also set up by bringing out Beatrice/ this new link monster and even a dante with the right hand.

Don't underestimate Foolish Burial on a monster in the Extra Deck. This card will definitely make PK BA relevant again, it's just a matter of what the shell will look like.

Skulldeat gets all the effects since he reads 3+ for his special effect. So you can still special the BWD if you used four monsters.

I dont think Rhino is as gud as u think it is, I only run it so i can still play BA with links, but i had cut it out b4 links released. It honestly only rlly thins out the deck, sure if it gets milled it can be any ba monster u want but for the sake of summoning it with tour guide is a bit redundant if ur just gonna send a ba monster to grave after it hits grave, might as well have it be that ba monster to begin with, and it slows down ur plays if u draw into it, and he isnt as needed since the BA Link monster will prevent ur ba's from self destructing just as long as it points to them.

First off, there's basically no chance of them getting a second link. Second, people would actually need to start playing Cherries to counter this card, which also won't happen.
+Bucket Suu Do you even know what you are saying? Ocg plays Cherries quite frequently specifically to have an out againt Spyrals and ABC. IF the ba Link monster will become problematic, cherries will just have another target added to the list.

That's not what I said. I said they need to play Cherries as a counter to this card, which would require them to waste an extra deck slot as well.

Honestly the Crystron link second effect doesn't seem very generic to me... there aren't many archetypal Synchro Tuners... I guess there's Coral Dragon and Tatsunoko and Formula and stuff but I feel like other Synchro archetypes probably won't use that particular effect. Like, Karakuris don't seem to want Tuner Synchros even thiugh they're also a Synchro Machine deck.
The Crystron monster is mainly good for its first effect. It makes Gofu a 1 card Link-4 once all the needed Monsters (already anounced) come out.

I dunno. It seems to be too much like the pre-existing Burning Abyss style. It's a consistent card but doesn't provide the archetype with a big monster to actually win with.
No mention of Crane Crane or Dark Eruption to recycle everything like Tour Guide, Graff, Kuribandit, or Necroface if you're using Desires+Gold Sarc? Yeah, Ghost Ashe stops everything....so what?

in the combo with fiendish rhino warrior, why not tourguide straight into graff literally the same combo minus wasting the rhino you might need later in the game to protect your other ba from non ba links
Could you put a monster that has the effect no monster can be targeted except for itself to be destroyed by battle by the direction of Cherubini's link arrow in defense position so they can't be destroyed and you can't target Cherubini then you summon a boss monster to finish the job?

Dumping a Rhino on your turn extends plays, but it's not even a quick effect. This means it's gonna be a 500 ATK target for the opponent and it can't even defend. Plus, it should have had an effect like Rhino that protected the BA monsters from self-destructing, but...at least it's a Fire Lake target.
regarding the latter, just summon the BAs under its markers

In my opinion, they really just needed something to allow double Dante again, which this does. It also protects B.A's and procs B.A effects upon summon. That and it has a free Foolish effect.

Gshiin Spyral won't be doing shit if they can't go first- it's always been a dice roll format so BA may have a hard time breaking another big board but the deck can also set up by bringing out Beatrice/ this new link monster and even a dante with the right hand.
You've never played against SPYRALS if you dont think the deck can play going second. It's good going second AND first.

it's good in infernoid BA cause you can dump rhino with the effect and use rhino to dump any infernoid for free

Don't underestimate Foolish Burial on a monster in the Extra Deck. This card will definitely make PK BA relevant again, it's just a matter of what the shell will look like.
