The real problem is that, as a general public, the average US citizen does not have the education or critical thinking skills to discern whether a celebrity's opinion carries weight or not and whether whatever they *choose* to see or hear on the internet or other media is fact or BS. There is no "smell" test anymore. This is truly a sad situation - most people can't think for themselves anymore. HOW did this happen ?!
