Sorry for the absolute awful quality. I've been having internet problems (same reason for the lack of streams), but I didn't want to just leave the channel barren and limp and fertile.
The art was beautiful, as was the music. Bill's character sprite was adorable and captured his mischievous and chaotic nature, all without making him less horrific then the version in the show. Lovely game, my only complaint is that it was perhaps too short.
Small rant here;
Why is Bill Cipher so attractive? Genuinely, he is a mf cool ranch dorito pyramid wannabe, so he has no business being that fine. I personally feel like they made him a little too attractive and that it was 100% intentional. And have you SEEN the human versions of him?? Sheeesh. Maybe I'm just lonely and gay, but I love him.

This is hilarious. I actually love the premise, its fantastic. But I'm a little confused as to why Bill doesn't just turn the player into a corpse? If they are stuck together for life, but Bill's immortal, then wouldn't the chain vanish if the player died? Or would he be stuck dragging their corpse around?
Here's my theory. You know who in the show once the Rift was broken and the nightmare realm opened Bill finally got his physical form? Well I think now that the rift is closed he would have go back to a mental construct but since he is soul bound to you he still has his physical form. So with that in mind, if he were to kill you he would go back to being a mental construt and back to the nightmare realm. (I also think when the rift closed I think his powers when to so he might not be able to kill us any ways.)
But hey thats just a theory,

@@pixleeevee5383 This makes a lot of sense! Though I think Bill would just end up in the mindscape without the rift. Still would be unable to do anything but possibly make deals? But he can phase through things so he has some of his powers, maybe he can only affect reality to the level that he could in the mindscape and can't use any Weirdmaggedon abilities. Idk, but your theory is a really good one and I think only Mattpat himself could puzzle it out better. I want to do the outro but I feel like that's copying your genius writing so... this is the end.

Okay because the ending was disappointing I made up a theory/head canon on why the game ended the way it did. I think the reason the game only has one ending is because the player is in a loop that resets every time they die, they probably made a panic deal with bill in order to live but the cost was probably the loop. I imagine the conversation went like this “Bill you can make deals right? Make me a deal to live after this!” “You realize that-“ “I dont care if the day resets over and over again as long as I can live after this!”. I think that Bill is somewhat aware of the loop, like he get more aware the farther in we are but doesn't tell the player. My main reason for thinking this is because of his attitude towards the player and him going a specific way in the forest. I think the maybe he was kinder to the player and grew somewhat attached to them and their death hurt him even more slowly causing him to grow more cold to them. He probably goes a specific way to either 1. Try to avoid the pit, or 2. He’s given up on trying to end the loop so he just head that way. “Why doesn’t he tell the player about the loop?” You may wonder, simple he has before but the player couldn’t handle that information and probably had a breakdown of some sort that ended with them at the pit quicker. I also think that Bill has grown to dislike the player because of the loop, to him they caused it and are what keeps it happening again. This is probably just me thinking way to into this, but the game hasn’t been updated in four year, I feel like I can speculate this much.
This theory is very cool and since this technically is the end of the game is seems plausible however if the game was continued both the player and Bill would've survived the fall and they would've headed into the mystery shack. How do i know this? I like the person who can't accept the end of this game, went through the files and I found some scene backgrounds and even music audios.

OK so there was a Gravity Falls scavenger hunt where you had to find a Bill statue. This was a real thing. The universe that the game is in is our own in a way.

You have a good Bill Cipher voice. This video was very, very interesting. Now this has nothing to do with the video itself or you, but we have a small critic about the game. And that is the way how Bill Cipher acts, while it works well in a more romantic/dating sim setting, it isn't 100% to the game show. Bill Cipher acts a bit too human and is less of a psychotic dorito that we know from the show. First thing is Bill Cipher showing signs of fear. While Bill Cipher is capable of pretending and manipulation and did show some behaviour similar to that of one affected by fear in the show during the "death" scene, it wouldn't make sense for Bill Cipher to act this way here. The game also shows that Bill doesn't know about the real world or the fact that Gravity Falls is a tv show, despite in the show (and outside of it) showing awareness of the 4th wall and even interacting with the viewers in AMA and changing the show's intro in the series finale, in it even hiding a message about watching the viewers ("I am watching you nerds!"). Bill Cipher also was likely aware that they would end up "dying", as implied by the We'll meet again song in the show. Never the less this is a very interesting game with a lot of effort put in it. Hopefully you didn't mind this wall of text.
No worries, I didn't! I actually think that's very interesting, and as someone who plays a lot of dating sims-- this is actually the case in a lot of them! I'm guessing it's because the internet for some reason just loves to crush on the absolute WEIRDEST people, but yeah, I find characters are ooc a lot in these types of things! :) (also, thanks for saying I have a good bill voice, I appreciate it!)
