Here in the Philippines the latest Wifi 6 is pretty useless because no matter how fast your router speed is, if the ISP is slow and laggy your wifi 6 will be slow.
I would definitely take out your modem from that enclosed space. The heat that must be accumulating surely doesn't help, alone with the actual enclosure.
Great video. I'm curious with this mesh model's capability vs wired ones (Xiaomi also has an AX3000 non-mesh model). Do these just connect wirelessly to your basic modem router provided by the net company? I'm so used to having a third party router connected to the net company's provided modem via lan cable but I would like to ditch cables and hopefully be able to play pcvr games wirelessly.

how was it mate? im planning to buy ax3000 to get wifi 6 upgrade and replace my wifi extender re450 tplink which got busted after 3 years and im starting to get packet loss and high pings ,my PC is upstairs, please need some info/reviews if it works fine in gaming ,

I just bought one recently. You can keep the existing router and just disable its wifi. Plug the AX3000 in and boom, all done
