How real or unreal a Vocaloid sounds usually depends more on the composer than anything. Gumi used to be classified as a 'failoid,' but songs like this one and 16bit Warz really bring out her potential. She's smoother and less childish than Miku, and I for one like that.

She sounds so different than her normal "GUMI" Voice. If you ask me Aoki Lapis and her should sing this in a duet :3 They would compliment each others voice so well.

I've never Heard the lyrics of this song... but it was extremely familiar... it was a bit weird, and by a bit I mean a lot... then I remembered that Hironou2525 did a guitar cover for this song!!! You should listen to it if you like the anime AIR, and you play guitar!
The weird thing with Gumi is that she sounds just like Megumi (the voice bank) except with an 'electric' effect. Gumi definately sounds the most natural out of the current vocaloids line up.
Gumi is close to sounding like an actual person out of all the vocaloid that I know of. I'm not saying the others suck, but it is just my opinion. Gumi is a vocaloid that has a really pitch. ^^.
She sings just like me :O If I sing along I can't hear Gumi anymore.. We're singing exactly the same o-o I also don't hear a echo of her voice behind me
@mikeru98 Actually, 詩 as a kanji means "poem", rather than "song". I think there's some crossover with the meanings though, as they have the same kunyomi.
