The ancestors of the Greeks, the Achaeans, came to the Balkans from Asia 4000 years ago and Plovdiv is 8000 thousand years old. The Bulgarian capital Sofia is 8000 thousand years old and is the oldest capital in Europe. Plovdiv and Sofia are not only the oldest cities in Europe but are one of the oldest cities in the world.

Anastasius Bibliothecarius talk about the Bulgarians and their homeland on the BALKANS in 4th century saying: "[...] The Bulgarians have united their homeland in accordance to their blood right [...]" and you can see what he means by BLOOD RIGHT. Ennodius Ticinensis (473-524, Bishop, court historian of the Gothic King Theodoric) claims that Bulgarians are old Moesian and Illyrian people. 4th century map by St. Jerome (331-420) is saying - Mesia hec & Vulgaria (Misia here and Bulgaria). It is said to be composed by even older maps - Bishop Eusebius of Caesarea (270 to 33, called the "father of church history." The map is preserved in a copy of the 12th century. letopisec.blog.bg/photos/123281/original/Karta_Ieronim_4_vek22222.jpg www.documentacatholicaomnia.eu/30_20_0491-0578-_Ioannes_Malalas.html Ioannes Malalas, Chronicon (c. 491-578) in 5th century is saying that the myrmidones of Achiles are Bulgarians: 1. "So the said Achilles departed alongside the atrides, leading his own army of three thousand people called myrmidons, then and now - Bulgarians" ----- 2. "[...] Achilles left with the Atreidai, bringing his own army of 3000 of the men known then as Myrmidons but known now as Bulgars [...]" Lated in 10th century Joan Ekzarh is saying the same: "[...] The Thessalian Myrmidons of Achilles are Bulgarians [...]" Here is something interesting in the Ravennatis Anоnymi Cosmographia: „Inter vero Tratiam vel Macedoniam et Mysiam inferiorem modo Bulgari habitant, qui ex super scripta maiore Scythia egressi sunt.” upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5a/Karte_Ravennat.jpg www.venstar.de/extra/App0003a.bmp Later in 10th century Leo the Deacon clearly says that Bulgarians and Thracians is the same: "[...] For the Byzantines, the words Moesians, Scythians, and Bulgarians mean the same thing, they use them as synonymes [...]" Gilo Tusculanus in 11th century claims that in the older monuments Bulgarians are writen as Thracians: "[...] Bulgarians who are named Thracians according to the previous (older) monuments [...]" The French priest Fulcher of Chartres in his description of the first crusade in 1096 says: ''Bulgarians who are named Thracians according to the previous (old) monuments'' „Hinc iter aggressi per fines Vulgariorum, quos vocitant Thracas, ut habent monumenta priorum“ Here Michael Attaleiates in 11th century not only says that Bulgarians are Moesians but also says that are Myrmidons too, like the other authors claimed earlier from 5th centry and later in 10th: "[...] The Moesi are certainly Bulgarians who later received their new name. [...] the Bulgarians are the Myrmidons [...]" Johannes Tzetza/Tzetzes in 12th century says: "[...] The Paeonians are Bulgarians [...]" ''Pyros and Akamas (native) of the Thracian Hellespont, Maronietza Evfimos son of Treziius, Pirehmie, who was of the Paeonians they were all from the Bulgarians, from those of the river Axios, also called Vardar'' in the sme time John/ Joannes Zonaras (12th century) claims the same thing: "[...] Paeonians - Latins or Thracian people, Macedons. These are so-called Paeonians. Paeonians are Bulgarians [...]" In 13th century Demetrios Chomatenos in the Brief Life of Clement Ohridski says that Bulgarians are Moesians and claims that IT IS WELL KNOWN BY THE PEOPLE, also claim that in the older days they were displaced by Alexander The Great then later came back with an army: 'This great Father was a native from the European Moesians, people usually known as Bulgarians. They were displaced in the old days by the military power of Alexander of placement of Brusa, Olympus to the North Atlantic and the Dead Sea, and after a long time with terrible army crossed the Danube and invaded all the neighboring areas: Pannonia and Dalmatia, Thrace and Illyricum, and and much of Macedonia and Thessaly'' macedonia.kroraina.com/bugarash/ko/kratkozhitie.html The Byzantine writer Ioan Zonara also used the name Bulgarians consistently in his chronicle. However, in one of his dictionaries, compiled by him similar to the Svida dictionary, he also called the Bulgarians Pannonians (Πανόνιοι οἱ Βούλγαροι). And Bulgaria itself means Pannonia (Πανονία ἡ Βουλγαρία). At the same time, Zonara notes that according to some authors, the Pannonians are identical with the Peons, who are said in his dictionary to be a Latin tribe or a Thracian people: Macedonians macedonia.kroraina.com/da/da_5_3.htm It is interesting to note that in addition to Zonara, the identification of Bulgarians with the Peons is found in a literary-historical poem by the Byzantine writer John Ceces entitled "Thousand", written between 1144-1170. It directly says Παίονες δὲ οἱ Βούλγαροι, ie the Peons are Bulgarians.

@@nikosx6905 The Bulgarians are Thracians, Roman historians write.
macedonia.kroraina.com/da/da_5_3.htm According to Fulko, the old name of the Bulgarians was Thracians. "And so," he writes, "the detachments left Pannonia shattered." From here they took a road through the lands of the Bulgarians, who called the Thracians according to the previous monuments ”(Hinc iter aggressi per fines Vulgariorum, quos vocitant Thracas, ut habent monumenta priorum). [16] macedonia.kroraina.com/da/da_5_3.htm In adittion: - Herodotus writes that the Getae are Thracian people. - Strabo writes that the Moesi and the Getae are from the same family and speak the same language. - Cassius Dio writes that the Getae tribe are part of the Scythians. - Procopius writes that the Getae and Sarmatians are from the same origin. - Stephanus of Byzantium claims that the Scythians are Thracian people. We know from Herodotus that before the Trojan War, the Moesi and the Teukri managed to conquer all the Thracians: “Mysians and Teucrians, before the Trojan war, who passed over into Europe by the Bosphorus and not only subdued all the Thracians, but came down also as far as the Ionian Sea and marched southwards to the river Peneios” - Her.VII.20 www.sacred-texts.com/cla/hh/hh7020.htm Another group of Moesi, those whose most ancient settlements are along the lands along the lower Danube, united with their neighbors and relatives the Getae, and thus formed a huge and powerful people, which Herodotus called the Massagetes, while Jordan simply defined them as Getae. The reason for this is the identical language and customs of the Moesi and the Getae, this leads the Roman authors to say that the Getae are the Mizi. An interesting quotation can be found in the work of Prof. Asen Chilingirov "Getty and Goth": "Getae sunt Mysi, quos Sallustius a Lucullo dicit esse superatos" (Serv. Ad Verg. Aen. 7, 604) - quoted according to D. Dechev, take it. cf., p. 104. ” - p.93 www.promacedonia.org/tschilingirov/gg1/gg1_1.htm ""Now the Greeks used to suppose that the Getae were Thracians; and the Getae lived on either side the Ister, as did also the Mysi, these also being Thracians and identical with the people who are now called Moesi - Strab.VII.3.2"" penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/Strabo/7C*.html ""As for the Getae, then, their early history must be left untold, but that which pertains to our own times is about as follows: Boerebistas148 a Getan, on setting himself in authority over the tribe, restored the people, who had been reduced to an evil plight by numerous wars, and raised them to such a height through training, sobriety, and obedience to his commands 304that within only a few years he had established a great empire and subordinated to the Getae most of the neighbouring peoples. And he began to be formidable even to the Romans, because he would cross the Ister with impunity and plunder Thrace as far as Macedonia and the Illyrian country; and he not only laid waste the country of the Celti who were intermingled149 with the Thracians and the Illyrians, but actually caused the complete disappearance of the Boii150 who were under the rule of Critasirus,151 and also of the Taurisci."" And more about the "Slavs" here is what Wilhelm Obermüller says: „… Those nations that after the end of the so-called "Great migration of peoples" are called "Slavs", are in fact nothing but the remnants of the peoples who previously inhabited the lands and named by the Greeks and Romans in long lists: Thracians, Getae, Mizi, Dacians, Agatirs, etc.… . However, these original documents are ignored by our Germanists and Slavists or they are ridiculed simply because they do not fit into the framework of pan-Germanist and pan-Slavic tendentious history. But that is also why these historians are forced, together with the flow of the "Great Migration of Nations", to "erase" (to present as "extinct") almost all the ancient peoples of the earth and after them to make them "appear". brand new, to look for their ancestors and of course after they have put in painless work without meaning, they do not reach any results. ” - Wilhelm Obermüller, Vienna 1872 **Just as the Germans are the heirs not only of the Alemanni, but also of the Tungri, the Cherubs, the Franks, the Saxons and many other Old Germanic tribes, so we are the heirs not only of the Pelasgians but also of the Muses, Getae and many other groups of old Balkans. We have every right to name the ancient Pelasgians, Mizi, etc. our ancestors, after all, the formation of the Thracian-Pelasgian community began in the Neolithic, and the bearers of the typical for us Bulgarians genetic markers, inherited from people who inhabited our lands during the Neolithic. Since we can talk about a unique continuity, since we keep remarkably ancient traditions, it is right to put an end to the dogmas and to reveal the truth about Bulgarian people.
