It’s basically like a ticket, it’s helpful for if your visiting for multiple days, and it’s just your access to the park and other amenities, like your hotel room! My family likes to use these because we are a family of 6 and it gets hard to keep up with everyone’s stuff, so with these you’re already just wearing your ticket essentially!
