We got 2 different meaning to previewing I guess.
Wait in one of the books , blood raven shows up at the end , Dunk an Egg show up at another tournament , held bye one of the lords who followed the blacks in the rebellion, an the prize is a dragon egg, Then Dunk an egg realize everyone at the tourney followed an fought for the blacks , an egg goes missing , an in the end blood raven shows up , So we will get to see blood raven at some point because he saves the day in that book an gets dunk an egg out of

I have not read any of the Hedge Knight books, but I get the feeling that Ser Arlen never got around to officially knighting Dunc. Episode 4 was a tear-jerker for me, but it was awesome to see Prince (heir to the Iron Throne) make his entrance and join Dunc's team. I hope Dunc's team kicks the other's ass.
The kid that plays Aegon is gonna start getting tall, and getting a deep voice soon. They better shoot all of this REAL quick!
There are time jumps between the books, he's supposed to look older during season 2.

Love this series. Duncan is a true knight and never waivers in his oath. Seeing the corruption and falsehoods he never stops being himself. Why multiple people respect him. The best scene was to me when he went in the tent of the "ladies" and they joked about him. And he asked why do you mock me I was only asking for a little help. When they said we see plenty of green boys with glory in their minds but never their hearts. He replied perhaps I will be different. Then after he defends the puppeteer. They knew he was true. The other scene that spoke so well was the blacksmith. He took his shield. Made it better and reinforced it with his skill and steel. When he asked how much do I owe you. The blacksmith replied for you lad 1cp. That blacksmith fully respected what he did and for him to put that work into his shield and only charge a copper piece was profound.
After episode 4, I had to read the novellas. I cannot wait for future season with Dunk & Egg. I just hope episode 5 isn't majority flashbacks , we wanna see some fights ! !

But seeing how well this show is getting received, I know they'll keep pumping out more quality shows, just wish it isn't short episodes in the future.(the novels are pretty short anyways so it makes sense, I just want more quality GoT content haha)

Every story has its own tone. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is about heart and simple honor, while House of the Dragon is about power, legacy, and fire. Different journeys same legendary world. Let’s not tear one down to praise another
@zekariyekhalif2946 I'm going to stand behind my statement and here's why. HoD looks amazing cpu generation to wardrobes, props and all. It is well acted and directed. But I dislike-despise-hate nearly every major character. There's none of the horror, mystery, magic, buddy-movie comedy and shenanigans of GoT and Dunk and Egg. None of the joy. Who's your Tyrion? Who's your Tormund? Who's your Peince Baelor? Never any fun, never an awful or interesting scoundrel whose character development is transformational until you find yourself rooting for the bad guy. Just uninteresting spoiled, nasty, rich people making the dumbest mistakes and oversights while fighting to the death for... whatever. Its dark, ugly, mean and not a lot of fun beside the occasional dragon battle. I'm going to watch every single episode, but I can rank it as I see fit. 3rd place and magnitudes better than RoP, which I refused to watch at the end of S1. Ira Parker is great. You can tell how much he loves the subject matter and how passionate he is about what he does. He needs to do all G.R.R.M adaptations.

I'd wager the Bloodraven was the reason why Egg tried hatching eggs. And it was Bloodraven that gave him the future prophecy.

Maybe Egg saves Dunk from the fire he causes and Dunk ends up surviving and living a life as a commoner
Maybe they should have gotten writers who knew how to write for the seasons after 5 of GoT and the last season should have been a normal amount of episodes
The prophecy she delivers said those who know you best will rejoice at your death. Not the realm. It's believed that because Aegon was arguably the most beloved King due to his lowering of taxes, enacting laws to protect common folk, delivering justice to the nobles and curbing their power that those that stood to lose from his empathy were delighted when he passed.
I think we need Aegon's Conquest. A blackfyrr rebellion would be to similar to HoTD...at least now. Now hot take....let's do an old Valyrian Series...kind of like Krypton TV series or the prequel Battlestar Series

I think the most interesting thing about her is she was the same actress that played the innkeeper from episode 1. Why use the same actress unless it was for a reason?

Easy to compare but note hotd is nothing like knight of 7.. just completely different and that’s a good thing. Sharing that.. the time between seasons just kills hotd for me.. it’s ridiculous.

IIn the Dunk flashback, the girl with him also appears in Dune: Prophecy. It’s such a great show, and I’m really looking forward to season 2

It would be stupid to include ANY Night's King, catspaw dagger or more Targaryan Long Night prophecy in AKOTSK, unless it's explicitly in the stories. The prophecy is forgotten by now, the dagger is lost or in the hand's of someone higher up than Egg and the storied have nothing to do with the prophecy.
There is a cool video about Medallion genetics and dragon riding. The gene in question is basically a telepathy gene. It would make since why The Three Eyed raven could influence dreams of people who have this ability. Warging is a similar ability, and is probably what Jaquin saw in Arya. This could explains why some Targs are driven mad, in order to set up the finish we saw, and hated, in GoT.

Mannn tbh they need to go into thr Blackfyre Rebellion but also it would be a great way to lead into Roberts Rebellion from Eggs story. But i want them to put more highlights of the dragon eggs bc i believe the ones Egg used during the rituals are the exact same ones that ended up in Dorne. But tbh i would love to see Ageon the Conquer but Dunk died with Egg so i doubt that thats Eggs bro dream. Pretty sure its about the trial of 7 but i would love to see Sir Duncan the Tall as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.

Just started this yesterday didn't expect much since i dropped HoTD, ep3 was good as the story picks up.
Episode 4 was amazing, the writing, the scenes, the colours and oh lord that twist at the end with the music. Sheesh.

I think it will end up that each head of the dragon gets a sword. We have Blackfyre coming back to Westeros with Faegon. And Bloodraven has Darksister meaning it could come back with Bran. And with Dawn that makes 3 swords for 3 riders for 3 dragons.

I read somewhere that the show runner want to make this story a lifetime project. Meaning he'll do three season to tell the story as written in the currently published novellas. Then he'll wait 5-10 years for George RR to write more novellas possible, but also it will allow the actors to age and they can tell the story King EGG from childhood thru his death. That will be really cool, and see as the showrunner looks about 30, he'll be around a long time hopefully to pull it off.
I wish they would make a show about old valyria before the doom.

I have not read the book, I am going too but I would like to get through this fight before I start. I am loving the series so far its outstanding
idea is good but show has lack of so many things. events feel disjointed from each other and too quick. no character development and key moments lack build up. still better than HOTD though
Knight of the seven kingdoms is by far more engaging Incas more about those characters the bond between dunk and egg is likes big brother and his little brother it’s great honestly I highly recommend it . Even over the other GOT and I like that also but this got me and my wife hooked after the first two episodes we are locked in .

I'm just glad George R R Martin got a show that sticks to the source material for the most part. Guy should be included on every part of the show. Can't believe season 1 is almost over. I just hope season 2 episodes are a bit longer. Other than the length of the show, this is a really great show.

There were seven dragon eggs at Summerhall, not five. And very likely seven Targaryens (counting the unborn Rhaegar, who was due to be born there). We know that Aegon, his oldest son, his grand-daughter Rhaella and her husband Aerys (parents of Rhaegar) were there, and it's likely that Aegon's other son Jaehaerys and his sister-wife Shaera (parents of Aerys and Rhaella) were there as well.

The trial of seven isn't how I imagined it (not read the books so it could well be book accurate) I always imagined 7 v 7 but a more gladiatorial fight like the one v one trial by combats are like. They look a lot more chaotic but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
No shows this week is killing me.
Yeah they say the short episodes lengths are “to stay true to the novel”. How about just have fewer, but longer running episodes???

Night of the seven kingdoms is way too short. It's killing me. They could have at least made it 45 minutes to an hour. This 25-minute shit is not good. I love the show though
