Not sure what I just watched... but I loved it! The transition from woman to nature was very impressive and I loved the way you guys carried it out. Great work!
You just witnessed Death (cessation of all biological functions that sustain living organisms) and Decomposition (process by which organic substances are broken down to simpler forms of matter).
yes, for decomposition of the body, hence "black gold" which is oil. oil comes from dead organic matter so its sort of a play on words since the lady is made of gold
I feel like it's a metaphor for maybe.. Like, "Don't be afraid of nature, because you'll become part of the earth" Or something. I dunno. Interesting anyways ouo
For many of you think that she was killed but she actually donated her body to be a housing for the nature that she loved and for to be crowded and connected to dust and vegetation. So I guess you could say she did die in a way but there was no suffering in what she did for she was kind and shelterd all of living nature she could find in her body. The transformation was all of her own and not a curse but a dream.
I think... It is maybe metaphor of gold in Africa.. I already knew that developed nations were taking gold of Africa in so many years using their power.. Of course, This video could be seen like just "Art", But in my opinion, It too can be seen like to criticize some nations for seize the other's fortune... This video is so cool.
I feel like this has some sort of emotional meaning. The "person" I will call them, had assisted nature to reach a bit further and explore more just to receive annoyances and being taken advantage of until the person just decays and loses all purpose. It honestly seems like society today... Being nice and giving your own work for the needs, rephrase, wants of others to just be drained and used like a tool. It is sad but true and I commend you for that PES. Amazing job If anyone else finds another meaning this could be relating to, please don't hesitate to respond and explain it.
A things like it happens to me too, but only when I sleep. Every insect in my room (or town) must go near and wake me up. And I starting to fill like this woman...
F. Zero Maybe she wasn't killed but donated her body to all of nature's kind and made it a housing for what she loved. Nature. For yes she was kind of this.
Considering the name, I'm assuming its a metaphor for the mining of mother nature's oil, and us not only being pestilential, but killing her in our search for black gold. We have run her dry, though...
Defendant beautifully astonishing that you were able to take something so simple and beautiful and not changing the way bad but changing the way that made it so viscerally disturbing yet still so enticing
Well, you can just tuck me into bed tonight, Mr. PES. Seriously, quite a departure from your usual material, wherein you reassign everyday objects to the representation of other things (billiard balls as avocado stones, and so on). There was no whimsy in this piece, which left me with unsatisfied expectations on my first viewing. Seeing it a second time, however, I think it stood well on its own, without my preconceived notions of what your work is like getting in the way. A spooky, atmospheric piece. Not what stop-motion is known for. Nice work.
I never thought I could find a decomposing corpse beautiful.
Well played, PES. Well played.
WTF?!
What? That was beautiful.
黒月 What are you? A Zombie in love? That was a decaying corpse! Nothing beautiful about that.
I guess to each their own. I like weird things. I thought it was a beautiful piece of art. You think it's weird and gross.
Potato, potato.
No, you're a potato.
Not sure what I just watched... but I loved it! The transition from woman to nature was very impressive and I loved the way you guys carried it out. Great work!

[nausea intensifies]
Victor Toresdale Hahaha, only normal =P
The clarinet that was playing the solo sounded amazing
It's squidward
@@unregisteredhypercam2774 but he sucks!
I love this every time I see it. It beautifully depicts how death becomes new live and shows just how natural it is. Amazing work as always
The audio work was great.
No dude, It's blue and white.
I can See clearly Black and blue...
Oh. ._. I need to go to a doctor.
lol ikr
its black in the back the mannequin is gold
lol :'D
Is this a metaphor for death?
yes, for decomposition of the body, hence "black gold" which is oil. oil comes from dead organic matter so its sort of a play on words since the lady is made of gold
No, it's a manequin
Yolo Swaggins or ya know, its just some shit they made up.
Ashens Couch K
Yolo Swaggins I agree with you :)
Don't play with caterpillars
Wha...
its a stop motion animation of a woman decomposing
@@luigithe42nd and that's not weird? 😂
luigithe42nd ants coming out of her tits like yeag
The music compliments this really, really well. You know like when you put a frame on a painting, it has to match.
That fly is the instrument of decay and entropy. This is why you always keep a loyal trained pet gold spider.
It's amazing how casual we can be with something like the concept and death and rotting away when presented so beautifully.
I feel like it's a metaphor for maybe.. Like, "Don't be afraid of nature, because you'll become part of the earth" Or something. I dunno. Interesting anyways ouo
Iclredably indulging to the eyes and ears but also very McCabe. What a masterpiece
McCabe
Ralph Bloopydoo You heard him.
Did you mean macabre?
Or Nick Cage?
***** actually, it is. It's an author, a good one: Patrick McCabe... read The Butcher Boy
only just realised that was the worst spelled comment I have ever written lol...
it's beautiful. black gold is another name for rich soil, the kind that flowers love. i think that's an idea here.
This is hauntingly beautiful..
Gave me chills!
Very, very beautiful work.
That was...Darker than I thought it would be,
this was so aesthetically pleasing

The flowers popping up remind me of a scene from The Fountain.
Yeah me too!
This has no business being so beautiful
Incredible as always.
creepy but amazing as always :P
oh my god, this is a piece of art even if i feel so so sad right now.
I would sell my soul to be Half this good/creative at animating! Oh... PES must have already done that...
That's a beautiful interpretation of a decomposing body.
body is just material, once you died, your body turn back to nature !
...
Ooookkk
+Andrea Mesina he isn't wrong
humans are nature already
not really you can freeze your self for da future
that was so beautiful
Love it! The first thing what came to my mind was SCP-027, The Vermin God.
Beautiful. Absolutely amazing!

Incredible, beautiful work. Thank you.
Nature is the reason we’re here thanks for respecting that
That was scary.
Well, that was disturbing... good animation though
As such is death
It's pretty beautiful if you look at it from a different perspective!
blue and withe no black
@@Jepysauce uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu7
I think she is meant to symbolize earth and how we are killing it.
Probably one of your best works.
虫はすごく怖いけど

Always so fun to watch!

Ah, the fragility of life. But from death so much is given back.
One of my favorite videos of all time.
Good to have you back!
Now, that's art.
Ok... this is just creepy!
the ants made a ant hole out her _____.
Maya Konieczna b00bs 😂
I'm pretty sure there was a tip of the hat to Dalí with the grasshopper on the face :)
Neat stuff.
This is some Jan Švankmajer type stuff, really great work.
so beautiful
Such talented people!!!!
i love this white blue film bravo
Eerie and beautiful!
That was genius philosophy
you are very good at making stop motions!!!
Maybe she was kind and that's what got her killed?
F. Zero Maybe she wasn't killed but donated her body to all of nature's kind and made it a housing for what she loved. Nature. For yes she was kind of this.
Thank you for this F. Zero
The music is incredible
Welp, that was my body horror fix before bed. Time to have an even more surreal dream than usual!
