“You wouldn’t believe how many careers I’ve ended because I’m brutally honest “ ok bro like you are that special
He takes pride in ending careers
He appears very much a special
Who is in the chase plane for all those difficult aerial shots , THATS what I really want to know ...
They are done very close to the departure or arrival airport or on the test flight. It doesn't accompany them
@@neillp3827 or there’s cameras mounted to the airplane?
39:00 - this guy is comedy gold
I was bummed last week when the 2 guys going to Brazil were in a tough spot then episode ended !
Glad to see the continuation & successful conclusion of their journey...keep em coming...
Some sim time will fix you right up brother! Good job.
Those damn killermetours! Can't see that distance....
3300 km is 2050 miles. :) One kilometer is 0.62 miles. I get it, these units can be unfamiliar, but I was raised on both imperial and metric, cos I had a fascination for science and traveling (still do, and am in my 20s). BTW, Merry Christmas & happy holidays my fellow human.
@@thatguyalex2835 Kilometre.
@@davidpalmer9780 Yep, kilometre in Europe and the rest of the world. :)
Hi... anyone know what the title of the next video is to this one... and what order they go in, in this Dangerous Flights series please
I really enjoyed watching this video, cause I love airplanes, when suddenly I recognized this plane, I asked my kids this was the plane we saw that did an aborted landing at Dumaguete City Airport, Philippines sometimes last year, we used to stop and watch planes that did takeoff and landing there and thats the first time we saw that model, if this is the one, were happy that you safely arrived at your destination. God Bless You Guys... and keep safe...
I wish this show cared more about making this realistic, for god sake you don’t start a jet in the hanger and the deal breaker is when they couldn’t get the jet started you can clearly see the red “remove before flight” covers over the intake of the jet engines.
My bro-in-law is a jet pilot. Didn’t realize how small community is. He flew to pick up me & my sister in Bahamas. My sister thought she left her purse in West palm. He had to turn around & go back! Her purse was in the luggage compartment. Sorry Gary!
He should tax her for that.
I have seen Kerry show his pride and ego of some of these videos but it's nice to see how he's been owned by the new technology... It's good to know that in an A 330 neo he'll be no match for me even at my age. As an experienced pilot it's important to be humble and know that you do not own the world just because you have tones of experience.
You do realise this is all complete crap...
@@alexanderdavidson7837 Lol 😂😂😂😂... Who cares 🤣
@@DoubleMonoLR eazy brother.. to me this is a pilot's soap opera 😂😂😂😂.. I would rather watch this than some stupid telenovela 😂😂
Soon to be featured on air crash investigation.
I love these!!! How soon before the next one posts? lol
Same
SAME!
You are a true blond
Where is the continuing episode??
I have sailed around the Granada airport it looks very straightforward to me.
Lmao imagine thinking because you can sail a boat that you somehow understand the inner workings of flight and an airport in general... Durp harder grandpa.
@@david10291029 I think any pilot who would look up Granada airport would agree it is very straightforward and very easy to fly into.
Pilots don’t sit in a plane and psyche themselves out saying things like they do in the intro.
Instead, they monitor the engine and plane’s overall health, plan for their approach and landing, monitor the weather and wind direction (wind for ground speed and direction in the event of a water ditching, determine their divert airport, etc, etc.
The intro they did say cowboy....
@@kaibotski4939 Cowboys are tough as nails. They’re not afraid of anything.
@@LostAnFound what i meant was they seem like they were literally just winging it and not very precise in their approach.
@@kaibotski4939 For sure, I get you. It’s just that this is 100% theater. Pilots (I am one) do not think or behave this way unless they’re fragile narcissists with an idiotic producer fueling their antics.
I was just jokingly saying that calling them cowboys in an insult to cowboys.
Because we always start planes in a hangar.
...with covers on the intakes.
Is it just me or are the Phenom pilots, unqualified to fly that thing?? They seem to not know what the alerts mean or what issues are happening on the jet
14:37 - Why would they downgrade a jets Nav., to a database over a year and 100 revisions older before flight?
That's why at night, even in good weather "You Fly Instruments", no matter what your body is telling you.
Right, I was so confused, like I'm no pilot, but I was saying to myself, isn't that literally the reason you have instruments? I get that the feeling may be horrible, but yea.
@19:36 Nice.
An experienced pilot forgot to maintain speed and almost caused a stall? I don't believe it. That was totally manufactured for the camera
Er . . . a "flying computer" that doesn't have auto-throttles ?
Theatrics included at no extra cost. It's like hot sauce on your tacos to spice it up!
Phenom 100.awesome lady 🤩😍
In the Bermuda corner oh my god!!!!
I really like programs like this, but the Hollywood bs, like showing a flock of pigeons when they're talking about vultures is lame.
Yo boss is damn dangerous bro! After putting him in line if he drops back into his money, let him have his business!
This show is about Dead reconing Navigation. It is about faith in your knowledge of your instruments.. and never ever losing your faith in your skills. I am 78 now. I was expert in dead reconing Navigation during the Viet Nam War. I had ablot less instruments than these pilots do now. I have to take my hat off to these pilots. They are amazing, courageous and smart. They are better pilots than I ever was.
you are all great...
Why were they putting dramatic music over an instrument Landing 💀
Wow I don’t know anything about this stuff but either this is being overdramatized or these guys don’t know what they are doing
Hollywood sure makes up a lot of drama. I mean, who allows filming of bribe taking? Pilots without enough cash to pay expected fees? 8 bank machines not working? Come on!
Russian weather lady looked a lot better than the weather forecast
Damn right
Never seen this before, but it's like a "Hell's kitchen" episode.
They make drama about overcast weather in Russia. They need Alaskan pilots that fly in blizzards with no visibility all the time.
Three minutes in and already fake drama.
Do these guys plan anything right?
Hollywood BS
Kinda hokey!
This footage is all embellished and BS. No pilot takes off not knowing if it’ll be day or night at landing.
It's storytelling. Mock up. No pilot will fly at night with the white roof courtesy lights ON 🤣
Agreed... it's all theatre made up for the viewer.
It's embarrassing
You'll be able to see outside the aircraft if you turn off the f***ing interior lights!! What manufactured drama. It totally diminishes the story
How come the Phenom they are delivering from AUS to USA has a N number. If it was from Austrailia wouldn't it be VH? Seems more like a commercial for JetAviva
Some sketchy trustee probably owns it. You'll see a lot of n-number aircraft flying around in foreign countries under trustees.
This like almost every airplane has an artificial Horizon instrument that displays pitch attitude and bank
That's why you need to hire flight handler they will expedite all the paper works!
Why are all the planes designated, 'N' the USAs' serial nmbr?
Each country has their own. Canada has "c-", Europe has "g-" and so on.
@@gordo1163 I know but a lot of the planes are not in the USA.
Please producers - aircraft do not automatically start banking wildly when there is a problem.
Lot’s of fake drama.
ok " Can you put runway lights on bright please?" . "runway light inoperable". "there are no runway lights and darkness is descending" 1 second later ,"they spot the runway lights just in time ." huh?
The lights turned on and appeared before they landed
@@lyft92 This is indeed what they showed, albeit this mostly likely was bs, otherwise immensely coincidental & convenient for the show. The show is presumably dramatizing or plain inventing a lot of things, otherwise the pilots basically shouldn't be pilots.
I wonder if this owner realizes how much trouble he can get into with his employees brazenly bribing government officials and bragging about it..
I like this show but it’s sooo over dramatic I can only take about 1/2 an episode. Just sayin.
I made it 3 minutes.
@@kode3 it really was too much. Not sure who actually watched or watches but boy it’s hard to dumb yourself down to be entertained by it. Good luck and stay safe.
A day off would be sleeping. Not on vacation
Don’t see anything re.type rating!
imsafe checklist.. f = fatigue. Tired? Don't fly. Easy as that. E = external pressure. Get-there-itis. Yup. These dudes are a completely different species of airman than me.
Bro , it's a revenue first , safety later operation ....
It isn't real.
e is eating, s is stress which this would definitely come under
Cool episode, man that Mario is the iceman personified and he is a huuuge guy!!
Sorry guys this series (Dangerous Flights - Discovery Channel) is 10 years old !
Also feeling OVER sold to aswell
Prop pilot who tells his wife to fix his computer well he looks a little old to be going back to college
Subject typo - Veterans
This is similar in some ways to delivering yachts long distance, tired and on the last stretch you can mess up on your final approach.
Night vision goggles?
When my truck won’t start I tap the starter gently with a hammer. Why don’t they try that with the jet ?
Imagine piloting a Sub. Instrument only always. Hang a 1inch glass prism from a piece of fishing line. Pitch and roll right in front of you. The amount of crashes something so simple could have prevented.
Why don't they add ferry fuel to the Phenom? A couple 1000 pounds of ferry fuel should be able to hop them across the Pacific.
Awesome
Vultures vultures vultures. Those were not vultures.
"VETERANS" is plural. "VETERAN'S" mean a SINGLE veteran OWNS SOMETHING.
Why is everyone suddenly adding apostrophes to make nouns plural?
Completely agree...too many people are lazy and rely on autocorrect.
Do you really want to know the answer to that ?
Are you SURE you want to know the answer ?
It's because the political Left has completely taken over our entire education system and therefore the quality of education has declined horribly. The Left is far more interested in propagating their history revisionism and their hate-America-ism than they are in teaching basic literacy -- or anything else, like math. Here are just a few illiterisms I've seen and heard in the last decade or two that virtually did not exist at all in American society previously.
1) "Supposably." Even after I showed one young man the actual word "supposedly" in the dictionary, he refused to say or spell the word correctly.
2) "Could of," and "should of." How THE HELL can anyone graduate high school and still be writing and saying that ?
3) "Butt naked." Oy vey. The idiom is "buck naked."
4) "Perogative." That is not a word. The word is PRErogative.
5) "Ball-faced lie." The idiom is BALD-faced lie.
6) Confusing "then" with "than" . . . ALL. THE. TIME.
7) "Had went." I always want to say, "It's 'HAD GONE,' you illiteramus. Where the hell you from . . . Arkansas ? Are your parents cousins ? Conjugate your damn verbs."
There are many others that I can't recall on the spur of the moment. I should start a list.
Venom lol
GREETINGS, I LIKE TO WATCH THESE PROGRAMS, BUT ONE THING PUZZLES ME:- SPECIALLY MODERBN SMALL PLANES CAN BE FITTED WITH P'ARACHUTES, TO EASE THE IMPACT IN CASE OF A "MIS-UP" AND YET I AM YET TO SEE THE INTRODUCTION OF AIR-BAGS, LIKE AS WE HAVE IN CARS,- IN PLANES. SURELY, THIS WOULD SAVE THE LIVES OF MANY PEOPLE, EVEN ON BIG COMERCIAL PLANES COULD BE OF ENORMOUS ADVANTAGE--SO WHY NOT??? V.COLRREIA--IRELAND
This Is literally the worst thing I've ever seen.. Hand flying a jet, then stalling it... They must be professionals
He didn't stall it - the aural stall warning comes on well before the stall occurs.
@@captmulch1it was probably the aural stall warning from the preflight check being played in the background... Pretty sure the stick pusher happens very soon after the stall warning.. Which means this show really doesn't do the real ferry pilots of the world any justice...
@@alexanderdavidson7837 Yeah, it would actually be a good show if they didn't over dramatise everything - why do the aircraft always start banking wildly when their is a stuck fuel guage??? :-)
@@captmulch1 Hahaha or a failed standby AH causes an overspeed condition
The way this video starts , when regular nothing special flight , been given under such stress, makes no sense to me… 👎
APOSTROPHE-S IS NEVER A PLURAL
*_E-V-E-R_*
They cant see the airsport 🤣😂🤣 better get some instruments.. 😳
Damn I bet there were some Aussies that would love to get out of there with you.
Lol
How embarrassing for the owner of the company not to have his $#!t together and not even plan enough ahead to pay for the dang airport fees. Lol
Russian taxiway not so good. Russian weather lady very good.
Well if you do the right stuff and right fuel you can fly for ever for the most part
Has anyone ever noticed that most of the planes being flown out of a foreign country begin with a "N" number?
Isn't N the prefix for a US registered aircraft? Like G is for the UK...
"N" is for US registered planes. Assume the show is American as are a ton of used planes on the market.
It's because a trustee probably owns it and a foreign entity operates is. Let's just say it's "easier" to own planes with an American registration. Theres plenty of good articles on it.
We're in an age of very realistic video's thanks to RUclips, scripted Hollywood shit like this is a thing of the past. I had to click off
This video is utter garbage...
Why leave USA without enough money and some extra.
Seems Randy and Gordy is really bad planner.
They made that way worse then it was
really scary
Living the life. Not bored… exciting

Yay second like and first comment
Doubt I have ever seen such BS. No wonder many people are scared to fly.
You guys finished filming yet I need my plane back
This dialog is appalling. Insulting and stupid. It’s American comic book dialog. ‘Cowboy’ ‘King’ exaggeration upon exaggeration
Can you use miles next time I don’t know what kilometers are
1 kilometre (notice the spelling) is 1,000 metres. 1 metre is about 3 feet. 1 kilometre is just over 1.5 statute miles. Your welcome.
@@davidpalmer9780 Oh ok.
.
They making sound so insane just to hype up people who know nothing about flying.
Unnecessary apostrophe in the title
How can I do this job at age 55 n wear glasses at corrected 20/20 ? Can I still go to schools for this job here or fly commercial planes ?. Cool vlog here thou . Keeps ya on ya seats don’t it .
Can’t stand how dramatized this show is. Can’t even watch because they’re so bad.
Amen! This is my last watching. Only interested in the Phenom 100. The fake drama, not even trying to hide it, is exasperating
so the video is only about selling the plane to the new owner
Yes... they sell the plane through the sky then land it at an airport.
I’m not a pilot, but even I can tell this is so fake. There are training programs and simulators for every type of new aircraft, especially for multimillion dollar jets. There’s no way he learned that jet in that timeframe
I like it, it showed the real life and real problems during such a long trips.
👍
"When it comes to jets"
*Jerry's a virgin*
The fake melodrama of these shows completely annoy me. I'm a retired bush pilot who worked in the Arctic and just slightly south. I just can't watch the rampant BS.
Ya gotta suspend disbelief. .. yes... I know it's hard watching this BS but at 28:44 "Fly heading 1402..." It cracks me up!
So staged
This show makes REAL pilot look bad
These kinda shows are so cringe. Repeat repeat. Then oh no the instruments, their broken. Repeat problem, now it’s dark we can do this . Then all of a sudden somehow we made it and all the problems have fixed themselves.
Bs. Called instrument flying. Did Hawaii, Micronesia cairns…
This show is cringy
Its bullshit
I hate the editing/narrator very much. just let us hear atc comms, see their legs, show landing and departure.
Yep! Brave pilots👨✈️ impressive!
Your cringe
It's a staged load of s*** I'm sorry but pilots wouldn't be flying through the sky falling asleep.
How many people had to google cringy before their feelings got 😢. Everyone is so sensitive these days.
If you prescribed non stimulants you be right
Absolute effing garbage. I want my two minutes back!
