Hey Doctor! Just discovered your channel just a couple of days ago. One thing that sets you apart from the other chiropractors on RUclips is the fact you put the diagnosis of a failed strength test like “weak muscle-C4 subluxation” on the screen. Educational stuff and of course great cracks!! Keep up the good work
You have no idea how much I would like to be adjusted by someone your skill level. My hips have been not right for so long. My left leg can't rotate out nearly as much as my right leg can.
What does it suggest when you attempt to crack, clearly move the joints, but no crack happens? What is going on at the level of the spine and nerve root?
Skorpion, great question. The cracking sound actually has no bearing of the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the adjustment whatsoever. What really matters is that we stimulate the nerve endings in the joint to have an inhibitory effect on the control of the spinal motion segment. So basically we're pressing the reset button on the neurological control of that area, whether the joint cracks or not. This is a great video to demonstrate that. Which adjustment are you referring to?
@@ScottHoar i think it was l4 in response to sign of weak abduction in left leg. i'm not a chiro, but a patient who's being treated by a chiro for an old motorcycle crash injury. i've observed that when he goes to do an adjustment, the parts of my back where the muscles are especially turned off often do not crack, almost as if there's not as much there for him to push against. what i saw in your video seemed to validate that assumption. what do you think?
skorpion I’m sorry to hear about your accident. However, I don’t think I’d agree with your assessment. It doesn’t matter if a joint cracks or not when manipulated. As an example, do you ever crack your knuckles? That is a manipulation to your finger joints. If you do it again, it’s still an effective manipulation, it just doesn’t crack the second time.
The last couple weeks I've been having trouble with my lower part of my hip down in the crotch area and I popped out my hip recently when I was working standing doing nothing I make dresses and stuff but I was just down here and finish up a few things at the sewing machine and I And I'm always hurting and I go to physical therapy a lot too I mean I live in Minnesota I have a chiropractic but he has trouble is putting me back in place all the time I go twice a week sometimes I go to physical therapy sometimes twice a week Depends on what I'm working on what I'm doing but it hurts everyday Your truly Robin HEINONEN
