- In this video, I'm putting the 13.43 gr. JSB Knockouts to the test in the FX Impact M4, equipped with the 700mm heavy liner. Pushing these slugs to impressive speeds of 1023 fps, I’m exploring the accuracy, consistency, and overall performance at 100 yards to see how they hold up under higher velocities. Throughout the test, I share my insights on how the slugs handle at these speeds, the effects on stability, and any surprises along the way. If you’re looking to understand how lighter slugs perform in high-velocity conditions, this video will give you an in-depth look into the FX Impact M4’s capabilities. Excelente vídeo
Fx impact m4❤
So interesting Peter. I've tested in .177 .22 & .25 in superior & Heavy barrels. I've found in EVERY barrel the old Knockouts are better than the Mk2's in 500mm and 700mm
I have shot quite a few 10 gr KO MK3 slugs lately.
Not shooting them much out to +100 M but hitting a cardboard inner roll from duct tape, with 5 lines hold over and 10 - 15 CM to account for the wind, well surprising many little holes appeared in the cardboard roll on the wooden post at 120 M.
Of course not going away from my 13 and 16 grain slugs, but i am shooting other stuff too, even pellets.
Shot shed nice and comfortably, i assume soon you will have to take a break.
I primarily watch your channel because you shoot 4.5mm. I love and prefer 4.5 mm. I have a .177 AirForce Talon 18" and enjoy it so much more than my fx impact .22, that i bought an Fx dynamic .177 compact and 600 mm. This was a great video. I am trying to get my Fx dynamic 600 mm to shoot the 13.4 jdb ko as well as my AF Talon does. You answered a major question i had. Does the FX 600 mm .177 come with a heavy liner or was that just .22 and up. Now that I know it does. I have confidence that I can get the fx dynamic. Shooting jsb ko 13.4gr as well as the talon 18" LW barrel.. which is not a slug barrel???. Cheers
With my experience. Size the JSB knockouts down to a 4.51 mm which is the same diameter as the Zan and you will get rid of that flyer. Just use a pellet sizer. They’re fairly cheap.
Interesting! Im seeing a better consistancy with the KnockOuts 🤔 I have been using both in the 600mm Panthera with the heavy liner. Its a tight run between them with a slight advantage to the KnockOuts.
But I think that it is down to the tuning🤓🙂
What magazine?
Its from Carm Magazines 😎
I'm not a 4.5 mm fan , prefer 5.5 mm caliber
I have learned alot from people shooting other calibers. Many things are compareable so 177 or 22 will in many cases give you the same knowledge 🙂
Why didn't you specify how many meters apart the groups are, I think that is an important part of the title of the video....
Do you mean the distance Im shooting at? 🤔
