hard reset cisco IP phone

Note, this is NOT a hard reset. This is a soft reset. The sequence for each is:
Soft Reset (delete files): 123456789*0#
• Hard Reset (format flash): 3491672850*#

on my 7821 I have tried everything Factory reset, Soft Reset and hard Reset and nothing is working do you have an idea of what I can do?

@@tavocazares3651 Are you holding any buttons down while you power the phone up? Like the #. Then enter the reset type you want.
If that fails, can you describe exactly what is happening? Is the phone powering up at all?

@@tavocazares3651 Ok. Now that you have that held down and you power up. Do you let the # go right away and then key the reset sequence, or do you wait until you see the buttons flashing to let you know it's ready for the command? Sometimes it can take awhile.

I have tried everything on my 7821 and it still asks me for the activation code, Factory, Soft and hard Resets what else can i do?
