Welcome to the Dreamworld! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 "Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
Yes dreamcatcher are amazing!! Especially in vocals and rapping! They’re absolutely unique! Dami’s voice is so deep it gives me the shivers and i love her flow aswell!
Thanks for ur reaction to Dreamcatcher! They among underrated K-pop Girl Group in the K-Pop industry, often known as 'The Dark Angels of K-Pop' or 'Face of Rock in K-Pop'. They actually not that popular in South Korea, but quite popular globally, they have big fanbase outside of Korea. But not as big as Blackpink & BTS. The reason they're underrated is because of their sound with Rock & Metal influence, which is not popular genre in K-Pop industry. Domestic music listeer lean more to Poppish & Hip-hop sound over Rock & Metal genre. Ironically, the founder of K-Pop sound back in the early 90's is a Metalhead himself.
I actually saw Dreamcatcher live at the beginning of the year, and when i tell you that entire venue was shaking, I'm not joking. it was so loud and the lighting was amazing. at some points it felt like a rave, but it felt like a full on rock concert with the songs they were doing I definitely recommend BOCA, Deja Vu, Maison, and Odd Eye on a different note if you want an actual Korean rock band i recommend BURSTERS. They're like an actual rock-rock band. i recommend their songs Barriers, Colors, and Smell the Rot
Dreamcatcher is one of the few girl groups that I can stand listening to, which I'm sure is partly due to their actual voices and partly due to the production team (their producers include some of the same people who work with ATEEZ, so it's no wonder that I often find their tracks intriguing). There's just something about the voices of most female singers that turns me off the songs, so I totally understand the feeling on that one... I'm extremely hesitant to even listen to songs by girl groups I haven't heard before, for that reason. I'm really glad you enjoyed this, though!
I have to same problem with a lot of female singers, can't stand the high-pitched, often sugary sweet voices. Doesn't mean they aren't great singers, those voices just aren't for me. Dreamcatcher is one of the only groups with female vocalists I enjoy due to this as there's more variation and a few sing a bit lower - and usually, they use the differences to their advantage in their songs. I recommend Maison MV and Sahara (it has self-made MV by the girls, it's great fun!)
I second the recommendation for "Sahara". Also, maybe "Reason" if they want more "traditional" arena rock vibes with power vocals and even more "Asian Nova".
They share producers with ATEEZ!!! And almost all ATEEZ producers work for them now (except the leader of the production team, EDEN). Both fandoms sahre a lot of fans. They get along very well.
I know you have too many recommendations on hand right now but I would like to make some if you don't mind, don't worry it's just a very small list. Here are some bands which have female-led vocals or have a female front woman that I think Angie might like, I'll also include the name of the lead singer: K-Rock (Korean Rock): Rolling Quartz - Fearless (Park Jayoung) THE FIX - RUSH (Lee Yoonji aka Leenzy) Walking After U - Blind (Beak Haein) DIH - NOT ENOUGH (Yoon Sena) Non K-Rock: The Warning - Evolve (Daniela Villareal aka Dany) Halestorm - I Miss The Misery (Lzzy Hale) Dorothy - Black Sheep (Dorothy Martin) The Pretty Reckless - And So It Went (Taylor Momsen) Note: With Korean names, their surname always comes first before their first names. To all the songs I recommended if it might not be to your taste it is important to refer to their fans if they could give you some songs that might be to your taste.
I second Rolling Quartz! They are an actual girl band that plays their own instruments and the songs often include guitar solos (sometimes twin leads).

Welcome to the world of Dreamcatcher's fandom called InSomnia for you, bro. Greetings from InSomnia of Indonesia branch😁 FYI, the correct sequences from their mv are like this : A. NIGHTMARE ARC 1. Chase Me (their first released mv after their re-debut as Dreamcatcher, but chronologically this is the second after the Fly High mv) 2. Good Night 3. Fly High (the prequel of all the stories in their mv chronologically) 4. You and I 5. What 6. Piri B. NON-RELATED MV 1. Deja Vu (this mv is a soundtrack from a video game called King's Raid) 2. R.o.s.e Blue (this mv is also a soundtrack for a video game called Girl Cafe Gun) 3. BEcause C. DYSTOPIA TRILOGY 1. Scream 2. Boca 3. Odd Eye D. APOCALYPSE TRILOGY 1. Maison 2. Vision 3. Bon Voyage For their Japanese albums, you can also react to their mv : 1. Breaking Out 2. Endless Night 3. No More 4. Eclipse (this mv is a soundtrack for an anime called King's Raid : Successor of the Will) And they also released a mv called SHADOW (there are 2 versions, which are ORIGINAL version and SLOW version) as a soundtrack for a Korean horror-thriller drama called Dark Hole. You can also react to the mv and I promise you will be amazed by their strong yet beautiful vocals. I really hope you'll reacting their videos more. And one thing I can guarantee to you : All of their mv are TOTALLY AMAZING AND ROCK AS HELL!😎🤟
For a Kpop Girl Group I would recommend you check out Purple Kiss. For me their singing voices sound deep and not exactly squeaky high pitched sounding. My favorite songs from them are: Ponzona(debut), memeM,Nerdy, & Sweet Jucie. I also recommend XG. All their title tracks are in the English language if you want something to sing along to. I wouldn't call them a kpop girl but a global girl group(who are all Japanese by the way) but they do have that kpop aesthetic to them.
@@Savage-ReactionsYour welcome. I could reccomend some XG songs but then I thought it should probably be your own choice based on what video of them that would pique your interests.

Every vocal range has it's purpose. Not having some higher tones would basically be like only playing the lower keys on a piano and what fun is that?
Not everyone prefers a high voice, and that is ok. 🙂
You might enjoy Hwasa, Ga-in and Moonbyul's music if you like heavier fuller voices.
Thank you for the recommendations!
