Not sure why you got that impression. This tv series was carefully rehearsed, so Iris is not at fault. A better question would be: why did the cameraman keep Mairead out of most of the shots? She and Iris harmonized on much of the song, yet we see mostly Michelle and Iris. Probably poor placement of the singers or the cameraman’s unwillingness to use a wider shot.
