So cute! My daughter (adult now) has always said bats were her favorite animal. not something you would think a little girl would like. She would always ask her Dad to hold her upside down by her feet, cross her arms & say,"look I'm a sleeping bat!" 🤣 So since then I've been partial to bats too. Maybe I'll make her a blanket & attach lots of these cute bat appliques around the blanket. Thanks so much for the tutorial & for bringing this little memory back to me. 💜🦇
What a beautiful memory! It really makes you miss when they were small doesn't it. Such special times. I'm so happy my bat pattern brought back some happy memories for you! Thank you for your kind words 🙏
Omg that's so cute! Trust me your daughter was not alone on her love for bats 😂 for some reason I loved vampires and bats were the closest thing, so during my childhood they were my favourite animals haha. Now I want to do this for my dad who is the Batman #1 fan :D
my first attempt was a little funky looking but the second attempt went so smoothly and it’s looks great!! i love this and i can’t wait to put these on everything i crochet. i just put one on each sleeve of a bolero i crocheted. they look so cute!! thank you so much for this tutorial🤍
Very cute! I used scrap yarn and whatever hook I had at hand, so I know with the proper tools, it will be even better. Great instructions! Thank you so much!
My first try was with black yarn, so I got lost a couple of times bc I couldn't see what i was doing, but when then I switched to another colour and it looks amazing. The tutorial is great and very easy to follow. Thanks! One of my bffs is obsessed with Halloween and I'm gonna give them so many bats hahaha
Thank you, I'll save this. I'll look it up when I get some micro cord. I hand crochet paracord. 550 is too thick for this. But micro cord or one step up would be great. Thanks, have a great day!
subscribed! this is now my favourite crochet tutorial!! i love bats and all things halloween so these appliqués are going on every project of mine :) you explained everything so thoroughly and clearly. when slip stitching for the little picot points, i did yarn under rather than over and it made it a slight bit flatter (or maybe i’m just seeing things! lol) so it was fun to experiment along to as well. 🦇 💜
I want to make this but a lot bigger, do you have any tips on how i could do that correctly? I tried many times doubling the chains and stuff but I can't seem to work it out :( I need to make it about 40 centimeters wide
Love the video and it came out ok but could I maybe recommend some subtitles im a bit hard of hearing and usually if I see subtitles while doing it me and others do a bit better other then that love love loveeeee ❤ the video
I appreciate you struggled following along with this tutorial, however there is no correct speed that fits all. Every tutorial is either too fast for some or too slow for someone else so I go at the speed I feel is balanced and works for most crocheters who understand the basics. Maybe another tutorial is better suited to your needs.
If you tap on the screen when the video is playing on your phone, up in the right corner a symbol that looks like a gear will pop up. When you tap on that you will see "playback speed". Tap on those words & different speeds will pop up like .5, 1, 1.25, 1.5 to speed up the video as well as -.5, -1, -1.25, etc to slow down the video. You can tap on any speed you like & it will slow the video down or speed it up depending on which you pick. Try this out, it should help. I would hate for you to miss out on this creator's wonderful tutorials. 🙂
Be sure to check your video settings, you can always slow the video speed down a bit. On Android you can find the settings icon at the top left of the video. Then look at the menu that pops up to find "video speed: normal" and adjust from there. Hopefully this will help instructional videos be the speed you need them to be! ☺️
Also, without sounding unkind, tutorials arent meant to be follow alongside, you are meant to watch a step, pause and complete a step. It is not the creators fault or responsibility for you usage of the video?

There are English subtitles, they're automatically generated by RUclips once a video goes live.
Cómo se traduce español
Why don't you write the pattern in the description?
🥰🦇
😍🦇👌💐👏👏🥰😁
Mine turned out a mess. You're moving way too quickly to follow along without pausing every few seconds to catch up. Please slow down next time.

@Katie-cy6rk the steps happen too quickly even when you pause each step. It's not a beginner video
