Thank you for such an informative and well-made video explaining these appallingly destructive plans by the highways agency. It's utterly sickening to see how roads continue to trump everything in their path, as though they were somehow the panacea for all of life's struggles: the people behind this proposal must be dead in their souls, with no concept of what it means to protect and preserve the world that we inhabit. I will be supporting you in this battle. Good luck.

The current A27 is chaotic at this point. It goes from a dual to single carriageway via an elevated roundabout into a wiggly single carriageway, then back via another elevated roundabout onto dual carriageway, which causes huge tailbacks (I was stuck in them yesterday!) that must lead to huge levels of local pollution and inconvenience to local residents. Surely the benefits of a fully dualled A27 far outweigh the short term inconvenience of the roadworkings? It's clear it was intended to be built thus and frankly I'm staggered that anyone would oppose such an essential piece of infrastructure.

I feel this is going to completely damage the environment around arundel and the surrounding villages. I know its a big project but with the costs mounting up what about tunneling?

It will certainly do that. National Highways rejected a tunnel option previously on cost - ironic as Grey Route seems now to be costing more. A tunnel would however be just as unpleasant for residents south of Arundel. A lower-impact option supported by many is the Arundel Alternative (see ArundelAlternative.org for details) - it would improve traffic flow at pinch points without increasing traffic and congestion.
