Interesting to learn a little about the historical Sweyn Forkbeard.
He's an important character in the first season of the "Vinland Saga" anime.

I have not seen this anime, but it sounds interesting if it has him in it.

Up next: King Forkbeard vs 1944 Ranger Platoon.

I'd probably give the initial edge to the platoon. I could engineer the situation in a way that Sweyn would win, but it would stretch reality a bit too much.

Many people do not know about Sweyn Forkbeard, which makes sense, given the length of his rule. But you will probably have heard of his son.

Interesting topic. I know Sweyn is often debated as a legitimate king, but i find he had adequately consolidated his rule to be considered so.

Yes, some scholars will not consider him in the official line of monarchy for England, but i do.

You can tell from the thumbnail pic that he was an absolute chad.

Well, if your name has something to do with a beard, you probably aren't a SBBC.

So the Vikings did conquer England, it just took a couple centuries.

Yep, that plus a scheming step mother and a weak leader.
