  • In this Physics video in Hindi for class 11 we explained Reynolds number and its significance. Reynolds number for a flow indicates whether the flow is laminar or turbulent. This number was introduced by Sir George Stokes, but popularized by Osborne Reynolds and hence, received its name. If Reynolds number associated with a flow is very high, it suggests turbulent flow and low Reynolds number indicates steady flow.

      @@durlabhbhaya2676 iam in class 11 and preparing for neet through online currently on you tube but have no idea about the question pattern of neet ..it is more numerical based or conceptual..what books to follow..m currently using hc verma for physics..if u could suggest me some I would be very thankful to u..I am in a fix ..

      @@murshidul12 hc verma is good, dont use more books live irodov or any other one, for biology=fingertips is a good one,if you had joined coaching classes then its good use material that had been given too you by them

      You made one mistake in turbulent flow, Reynolds no should be greater than 4000 ,but you wrote it should be greater than 2000 ,then it comes under transition flow . Don't mind bro my intention is just out of your understanding😅😂

    If the velocity of flow is less than critical velocity, the rate of flow of fluid depends basically on viscosity of fluid. If it is more than critical velocity, the rate of flow depends on the density of fluid not the viscosity.
