  • I've been debating on these two knives for the past few months. I couldn't figure out which one to pick up, so I got both. I figured, maybe there is someone else in my shoes out there who is also wondering which one to pick too. So this video is for you!
The Benchmade bugout has long been considered the gold standard of popular EDC knives. It's one of the most sold knives out there, and for good reason. But if you are like me, you are skeptical and you have bigger hands.
The Bailout is a newer release, and it's quickly gaining market share over from what I've seen around here and on IG. It's a dope knife, and I honestly really like it.
But which one should you buy? Which one of these is the best EDC knife?
In this knife review, I will go over both the Benchmade bailout and do a Benchmade bugout review.

I bought my brother the 0350 for his birthday. He carried through his last 2 tours in Afghanistan. My sister and I got him the bailout and he has been carrying that.

Another awesome video dude! Nice! I like larger blades too. I wish there was a Bugout XL model just a little bigger. Love the channel.

That all black bailout doesn't have a glass breaker on the back, that's more of a lanyard loop.

Man I can’t decide if I want the benchmade bailout or pm2 tanto. I have a bugout and use to a lightweight knife. Worried 4.2 0z is to heavy in the pocket

Lol basic RUclips starter pack. That music and that potted plant with a black table.
😂 no I’m kidding honestly you got a good channel bro. Keep it up. Good quality.

Great video! I’m trying to pick one. I like deep pocket carry, which they both have. But the new bailout has a glass breaker, I want that too! Haha. (Not like I’ll ever need that, I hope.) I’m a woman with small hand living in a strict knife law state so I prefer the one that doesn’t catch too much attention. Seem like the Bugout would be a better one for me but the Bailout has better handle and design... ugh 😩 so hard to pick.

Bugout is extremely popular for a reason. I think it will serve you well. But on the other hand...sorry I know I'm not helping haha

      Crown & Forge
😈 “Get them both.” 😇 “just pick ONE.”
I ended up getting the Bailout M4 with glass breaker. As I thought, the handle is a bit long for my hand. But over all it’s a solid knife! My pinky will agree 🤣 sliced it and didn’t even know it.
You have a good point, the Bugout is popular for a reason. Benchmade might make some modifications or upgrades in the future. When they do I’ll get my hands on one. Either or, the chance of discontinuing Bugout is slim. It will be there when I want one. Yours looks gorgeous with the modifications. Thanks for your reply 👍👍

I agree 100% man. Thinking of selling the bugout.

And I'd really like to see a lighter 0350 with a little longer blade. Around 3.75" would be perfect for me. I love the design and always come back to it but the weight and smaller blade would be a compromise.

If you like knives to sling out like that, checkout the milwaukee fastback. It's not as pretty as these, but you can't beat that slinging action.

Every knife he showed beats the "slinging" action of that knife. I suggest you handle a decent knife, then remember that you complimented an assisted opening Milwaukee branded knife.
Unless you're trolling. If that's the case.... Why?

The 3v on that bailout is terrible. I go with the bugout every time.
