+Jayden Valentine no I've not ridden the '17 (in fear of wanting to buy one) but the difference is huge with this setup. Best thing I could've done Much more consistent, a nicer feel and grab and less fade
+Jayden Valentine no issues yet at 7600 miles. Gear shift spring came loose. 1 min job to fix. Uses a bit of oil every 1000-1500 miles when ridden hard... That's about it Its very different to my gsxr which is setup solely for track. The Tuono is much more fun, torquey & softer for my road riding. If I had it setup for track I'm sure it would be a quick bike in the right hands! The gsxr needs to be thrashed but it's a great bike when you start pushing it
Hi James, try the below. I've not bought one in a while but this is what you need... Oh and enjoy once fitted it's amazing! Just remember to do thy cable tie trick to bleed the bit of air out rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202321339055
@@Birky_41 legend, thanks mate and will do. I am very much looking forward to seeing the improvement and your definetely right, the standard front brake is terrible as is.
Hey mate I ended up seeing some boys here called goodridge and we ended up making a twin brake line set up. With the master and lines its insane the difference. Better than the 1100evo brakes on my Ducati now. Worth every penny. Thanks again mate.
This will sort you out... Will be the best thing you've ever done when it comes to the brakes rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202321339055
every body moans about mt10 brakes didnt no tuono was the same ,ebc pads fix the brakes on mt10, you must have arms like arnold schwarzenegger now after that up grade.
So true. One of my lot rides an MT10 quick and first proper ride out nearly cooked it big time. Did the same as you and sorted it right out. My Tuono was sorted in 17 with the better radial system but my brakes were garbage. They'd stop quick but feel was inconsistent and repeated use would have the lever go spongy plus come back to the bar
have you tried dot 5 brake fluid that doesnt boil as much as dot4 fluid used to use that on my r6 also abs brakes are shit on any bike they should be a switch on all fast bikes to turn them off.
You can turn off with my bike and in ABS1 you're hard pushed to get them kicking in even on track. It's all the extra plumbing needed for ABS that makes them feel like they do. Not tried dot5 I just run a very high quality motul factory line dot4
Ah yeh that is a bit. My brothers gsxs 1000 is the same and was kicking in hard at cartagena recently. I guess different bikes have different abs setups
Fucking legend, just low sided my bike a few days ago and now I have a excuse to change my master cylinder.
Love your videos man! Keep em coming! Did you get affected by the brembo 2018 recall also?
+DrZr Thanks! Yes although my recall was the non radial version and was done early 2017
Brake was still so so at best hence the upgrade
did you notice a difference? Did you also test the 2017 Tuono?

ok cool. How reliable is the Tuono? How would you compare it to your GSXR on the road & track?

Really glad you got it working well for you. Great brand you went with. As I said in the video, it really is one of the best mods you can do

@@Birky_41 cheers buddy!
Hey, where did you get the two adapters? Cheers
Ebay, costs £15
Did you ever consider the rcs 17. Seems people go either or with these. Cheers.
I did yes. There's a lot of talk between the two and a mag comparison on brake testing. From everything I read the 19 was the better choice
