Good stuff - first I've ever heard this piece on an organ. A shame so many churches have gotten away from using this instrument. There's something transcendent when listening to a piece on an organ that just isn't present in most other instruments. It can set a very specific mood.
Just can't stop listening to this wonderful piece. Such a brilliant composition with wonderful etherial qualities. Jonathan's playing is superb and carried out with such feeling. The wonderful photograhy by Tom is the icing on the cake. Thank you so much.
The serenity felt during the piece's opening led to an audible gasp as the grand chords revealed the cathedral in the rippling water. The stunning blue hues complement the mood of this captivating video & performance. Bravo!! Thank you for sharing. 💙💙🎹🎶
Yes. The revelation of the cathedral seemingly beneath the waters gave way to the realization that the clouds were moving swiftly past the cathedral in the beautiful blue sky. Somber yet soothing.
Just wonderful! Happy New Year to you two and your family! May 2024 be full of love, unity, health, peace, prosperity! May God always accompany and guide you! And, please, don't forget us!
So Atmospheric and Lovely - a Fine transcription indeed of the La Cathedrale Engloutie ! So moving when the chords powerfully announced the sighting of the Cathedral !The accompanying visuals perfectly complementing both in actual form and also with the atmospheric addition of the blue tint.Thank-you Jonathan and Tom !
First time I heard this piece it was played by Prof. Ian Tracey on the organ of Liverpool Anglican cathedral, was blown away and have been hooked on it ever since.
That was an amazing transcription Jonathan!! The performance was impeccable as always (I particularly enjoyed the parts where you are conducting yourself, to ensure you played the next notes at the correct time!!). The visuals were so well blended with the music Tom &, as usual, they were awesome!! Altogether a beautiful video! Thank you both. xx
Another stunning performance by the Scott brothers. I am amazed Jonathan can interpret those hen scratchings on his manuscript into such sublime music giving us comfort and hope, healing and soothing the hurt of the traumas of today . Thank you both from Melbourne Australia.
This is among the many favorites I have that I love listening to that Debussy penned. Brilliant organ reduction - happy to have gotten your organ score for this. Now all I have to do is learn it - the tough part. But it's a brilliantly expressive piece I love to listen to even in the fully orchestrated format - which I DO believe I have the entire score for as well. But this is simply a brilliant reduction and your playing is impeccable indeed. Thank you and cheers.
A very mesmerising music piece by Debussy who has written so much wonderful music. And perfectly performed on this organ which suits the music so well, I should listen again on better speakers or headphones as the bass solo didn't really work out on my computer speakers, you could hear parts rattling though from these low notes.
I would have never thought of hearing this piece performed on an organ. I still prefer the piano version as I feel a part of this piece is about a piano imitating an organ while adding its own unique pianistic attributes. The performance and the registration are incredible nonetheless ! The part from 1:36 to 2:28 is so well rendered.
Normally I don't like these transcriptions of orchestral works but this one is pretty good and Jonathan did a much better job of it than John Carpenter. (Yes I referring to the score from the movie Escape from New York)
This song I find sinister and mysterious, but Jonathan performed it very well. But I want to highlight the images that Tom made, simply beautiful and in harmony with the musical piece. Debussy was the father of modern music, although he himself denied this title. 🤷🏻♀️

One could almost imagine Jonathan equipped with a snorkel, just in case !!

Gorgeous, start to finsh.
Merveilleux et magique. Merci!❤❤❤❤
A tour de force. You two heroic time travellers took me into the cooling, healing waters and back up into the clouds.
Masterpiece, played by a master-arranger and -organist.
Восхитительная музыка Дебюсси! Обожаю её!!! 😊🎉❤
Beautiful rendition!

Beautiful arrangement, performance and recording.
Absolutely wonderful Jonathan!🤗👍👏👏👏👏
I love the imagery with this piece. Good teamwork brothers. The little female Mallard was a sweet touch. xx
Another beautiful piece of music, brilliantly performed in an amazing setting and captured for video by the amazing Scott brothers!
Wonderful playing, arrangement and filming, as always. My new favourite piece to learn until the next one comes along. Thank you.
My FAVORITE piece of music! We used this for our wedding processional 💗💙💚💜

Thank you for both the music and the video. Beautiful ❤️🎶
Have also heard this piece named as "The Engulfed Cathedral".
BEAUTIFULL!

😍😍😍
not to mention Mont StMichael
First 🎉
I waited for the bells/chimes but alas there are none. You need to pay your brother more so he can afford to ring the carrion or a bell🤣
I heard the bells clearly
