  • Detroit homicide detective Sarah Markel took the stand again on Tuesday, May 14 at the trial of Jaylin Brazier in Detroit, Michigan. Brazier is charged with second-degree murder in the disappearance, and believed death, of his 17-year-old cousin Zion Foster, who went missing from her Eastpointe home in 2022. Markel's testimony began the afternoon of May 13.

    Pros. entire exam of this witness/evidence was really poor and made very little sense for about 50% of it. Cross then followed up with some weak cherry picked messages which the jury will see straight through and then came the AGGRESSIVE onslaught, again for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
