  • A team at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) designed and built a new space instrument called the Interstellar Dust Experiment (IDEX). Part of NASA’s Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) mission to explore our solar neighborhood, IDEX will trap tiny grains of dust flowing into Earth’s solar system from the galaxy beyond. These pieces of stardust were once the building blocks for Earth and all of the planets in the solar system.

    This is a cool idea! We wish a safe journey to L1 for this instrument, and may it function well so we can learn from it. Best wishes for IDEX.

    it's gonna measure what?hehehe...like hell it is....only when you find the curve....that looks like a popcorn cooker to me😀
