The orphanage of Bobrovo for severely disabled children in Russia urgently needs 6 medical beds and 9 standing frames for children living only lying in their beds.

If you attach a retirement home for older people to an orphanage then the lonely seniors can come and cuddle the kids; a very good winning combination that is working well in other countries.

I agree! Obviously proper training for the staff and risk assessments have to be made on each child and adult to ensure nobody comes to any harm but I have watched programmes where this set-up works. Even if the relationships are non-verbal, communication can come in other ways through eye contact, human touch, empathy, etc. Of course, not all governments have the funds or resources to enable this to happen and this is where countries are failing in their care for their own people. I wish they could help more 🙏

That is an amazing idea the did an experiment in my country that lasted i think 2 weeks where kindergarden children and elderly was put together and from what it seemed like both benefited from the experiment so if an orphanage and a nursing home was put together what an amazing thing for both parties that would be ^^
It's a nice idea, but the elders should have to pass a background check to be sure they're not abusers, and they should be supervised anyway. Just in case.
It is very clean and well kept despite the disrepair of some things in the facility. Obviously people who care work there. A credit to their country. It is great when people who work somewhere advocate for the people they care for instead of just waiting around for someone to change things for them.
You are right Nathalie! the orphanage team is wonderful, this is the reason we help them by improving the living condition and medical care of children
Play some music for these beautiful little angels. It would stimulate them so maybe they won't self harm, rock back n forward all day, and be so bored and ill from NO interaction or stimulation....etc.. I don't necessarily mean these babies. All of the precious babies in orphanages. I'd take em' all home If I could!!! Peace All xo
Amen to that!. The irony here!; it's ffordable!! Damn near free. Despite the fact that these children are viewed as worthless, hopeless burdens & a waste of good $$ & resources, they're here, they're alive & completely innocent'. They are the ones most deserving of care.

they are all so beautiful! The people who run the orphanage and care for these children are beyond amazing individuals. The centre looked very clean and the kids looked happy. I'm hoping you get the help that you need and deserve to help those and many more to come. its heart breaking at the same time as i wish i was in the position to help. @@silasnightmare9461 Unfortunately, Russia closed international adoption. the caregivers at the orphanage are wonderful people. They love their children and do their best to support them. My organisation supports them because they do not have enough financial support to care of the children.

A very difficult job that will a bigman cry and break like cookies. I couldn't last a day having been partially disabled myself i know deep down what life is all about with kind people around you, and supporting you. They need continuous ultra-care with so much sensitivity and LOVE.

They are doing the best they can. I have two special needs daughters and as long as I’m breathing they’ll be loved and cared for.
Thank you for your kindness and willingness to help these children. More needs to be done to make sure that all of these children are able to live our their lives in peace and happiness. No child deserves to be deserted by their parents because they have a severe disability. I wish more could be done to help these children. Those poor children (the ones that are bedridden) are suffering and have zero quality of life. It's so horrible to be born with such awful conditions and be sentenced to a lifetime of punishment. I really hope that these poor children won't live very long.

This place is a Heaven on earth for these kids compared to the nightmare facilities that litter many of the other eastern european countries. The staggering amt of these kids who are NOT technically orphans is so shameful. They knew what the deal was when they threw their children to the wolves. They'll b judged for it soon enough...

Yes, we succeeded to provide new medical beds and mattresses, Verticalisers, and a lift. We succeeded to fund the complete project. We continue to help these little angels.

Dear Joy, The parents of the region are mostly very poor and do not have enough means to help their children. Parents have to pay for paramedical expenses such as physiotherapy and other services themselves...

I'm disabled myself, and I wish I could adopt. However, I am not sure if blind people who are on SSI like myself are allowed to adopt.

People have concentrated their efforts into inhibiting these children, making their world as small as possible; it was all part of how the system worked. Now you come to us, asking us to give to the funding of something that would only be a drop in the bucket next to all the trouble that could have been prevented?
Dear, many situations could have been avoided on earth. these children live now. There is no border, no country when it comes to children. They need us now. The staff of the institution is very professional and look after the children with a lot of love. They do not have enough financial resources to improve the living conditions of children. So we helped them through people who opened their hearts to them.
@@kleineherzen It's been a long time since this video went up. I don't know if this video reflects what the situation is right now, whether the young people featured here are past hope or this institution is still functioning in any capacity, but if it does, I wouldn't call this living.
It's kind of funny in an odd way: Russia has historically been one of the biggest offenders when it comes to the mistreatment of people with disabilities and human rights violations on the whole, yet things have so badly gone to pot now that people are especially likely to be treated this way regardless of where in the world they are.
These guys in Russia look after them with love after all that? Yeah! Only now that it's clear that not everybody else is as pure as white do they put themselves out there, put their own asses on the line.

The documentary has been done in March 2018. All projects named in the Video are done. I am so happy! They still need new furniture for game rooms.
What should change? These children will not recover. They will not recover in Russia. They will not recover in the United States ....... They will not recover anywhere. They need constant care and constant treatment. It will always be so .... After 5 ... 10 .... 25 years .... nothing will change. Very severe organic damage to the brain and the entire vegetative nervous system. Incurable

@@mrsphi9012 : I have been helping this institution for several years. I visit them often. Even these children, who are also my children, recognize me and jump for joy to see me again. This Video was taken so that my organization can receive donations to improve the comfort of children. I was able to successfully finalize all the projects and I am very happy. The caregivers are people who love these children and I assure you that the children are well fed. Where are you living dear?
