✨ How To Make Midjourney Images on the Web! No Discord.✨
No more Discord needed! Midjourney has launched an incredible new website that allows you to generate AI images directly through the web interface. This website is now available to anyone who has made more than 100 Midjourney images and, soon, it will be available to all Midjourney users.
Type /info in Discord to check how many lifetime images you've created.
In this video, I provide a walk-through of how to use Midjourney's website to prompt your AI images and view, search, and organize your image archive.
The new website is still under development, so expect changes before its official release. I've been using the new website for a few months now and it gets better and better with each update.

I can't quite move my entire workflow from Discord to Midjourney's website, but the website is getting more versatile with every update.
Really helpful. I’m on Alpha but had no idea I could find all my past work! Thank you.
I love how fast the search is and that we can search using most parameters!
The website has some really cool features but I’m sort of used to Discord. One thing I’d like to see is a negative prompt box in the create settings. On Discord I do this with “prefer suffix”. I may be missing something obvious but on the website I have to manually add “-no …” on every creation command. A “-tile” checkbox would be nice too
I am also used to Discord 🙂. I like to create and organize my projects in separate channels on a private server. The website doesn't have an equivalent to that yet.
Yeah, some features are missing on the current website. Custom options that you set up with /prefer option set in Discord are not available on the website, as of now. All of those would need to be added manually to your prompt.

I was really excited about not having to use Discord until I realized I actually love it now. It's almost like writing code instead of using a visual programming or wysiwyg. Anyone else? Great overview video though, made my day a bit brighter 💜
Ha, yea, I still prefer Discord because it feels more like writing code to me and I have more control over project organization with channels. I do, however like the larger images on the create page, drag and drop for image/style/char refs, and that you can use the up arrow (like in Discord) to put your last prompt back in the imagine bar.
same here !! I joined just to get the site..after using discord.. i love it. simple straight forward.. clean, and --sref --iw etc is so easy and controllable to the .0 to 100 etc
Great video! I've been using the alpha for a couple weeks and its a big upgrade. If you are open to new video idea suggestions, I'd love to see how you approach using the Vary Region functionality! :)

Great highlight video and so grateful for the Alpha site indeed. Curious do you know of any way to bulk delete images from the alpha site? I can only find the ‘hide’ option and doing one by one the ones I no longer want to keep. Really hoping I’m missing easy group delete options.
There isn't a way to delete images via the alpha site, unfortunately. You can only hide images. You can hide images in bulk by shift+click each image or shift+click+drag in your image archive.
The only method I'm aware of for deleting images is in Discord by reacting to the image or grid you want deleted with a red ❌.

Alpha is nice, but there are important features on Discord that are not available in Alpha. I find the /shorten, /tuner, /describe features in the Discord version more efficient.
I agree. I find myself still mostly using Discord, but I do like how user-friendly the website is (generally).

Thanks! I believe you can do this by including a character reference image (--cref) while inpainting (vary region). I haven't tried it out myself yet, but will include it in a character reference deep dive video I'm working on if it works well.
Help !!! when I drag a picture up to use as a Image reference or a style reference etc. I hover over it bit I dont get the 3 options like the paper clip etc...nothing just the default one is there. tried different browsers like chrome and opera..all same ?? thanks for help in anyway
@eded4104 if you are trying to bring in an external photo, you need to click the plus sign first, drag it in to upload it, then you can select the image and choose how to use it. Hope that helps!
@@woollyferncreative Hi there... I drag it right from the site and nothing. I am good with computers for the last 20 years and I am stumped. was hoping to hear someone else having the trouble so I know its with the alpha site and not on my end.
I would like to see the bulk downlooad feature added to alpha. They had it on beta but not on alpha.
On your Archive page, you can either click the plus sign next to the date to select all images for that day (or multiple days), or you can click and drag to select images. A download option should pop up at the bottom of the page.
Is that what you mean or is there a different download approach that you're referring to?

Good afternoon, tomorrow May 5 in Spain is Mother's Day, with the previous version of MID JOURNEY on Discord I knew how to fit your face on another character but now I use the alpha version, could you help me to remember my mother and give her a new character.
In short, how can you include a face in a character, a portrait, in the alpha version?

I'm not sure which approach you use in Discord for this, but if it was through Vary(Region) / Inpainting, you can do that in the alpha website. It doesn't work as well with images of real people though. There may be something useful for you in my CREF Deep Dive video as well. I have access and I have a question please: How can I set up folders or lets say groups? For example, one folder I use to generate landscapes, and another folder I will use to gen spaceships, and so on. I Discord I was able to set up channels. Do you know how to do that here?
That's a key feature to my own Midjourney workflow and unfortunately, there isn't a way to mimic that on the Alpha website yet. You can only create images on the Create Page. You can move those results to folders on your Archive page, but you cannot actively create images within a folder.

5000 images and still no access to the imagine bar to enter prompts.
At their office hours last week they made it sound like that image limit would start dropping very soon! Hopefully you'll get access in the next week or two.
how do you delete in Alpha site?
Unfortunately there is not a way to delete images on the alpha site. You can click hide to hide them from your main archive view, but they are not deleted.
Discord is annoying anyway. Glad it is going away
Discord works better for my workflow, but I'm really enjoying the website. Discord won't go away -- the website is just another way for people to use Midjourney 👍.

Yeah, I still prefer Discord for now 🙂, but am really enjoying how easy the web-based image creation is.
