I have never embossed anything, but I find it exceptionally satisfying when you use the heat gun and the powder gets glossy. Maybe that's my sign to get some more supplies soon! Lovely page!
Hahahaha, I bet that paw thing went over like a lead balloon! My Marley HATES that too. I love your idea of the 12 photos of Betty through the year, very clever and fun. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Ali, this is a great idea that I will definitely copy. Also it made me cry when I heard your story with Betty, I love dogs so much ❤ thanks for sharing
Just an idea, but if you have a scanner, you could have Betty just put her foot on the scanner and scan it? or take a close up/macro shot of her paw. I really like the idea of getting her paw in the story!
You can let Betty walk true mud or paint and put some papers down on the floor where she can walk on with the paint or mud, so you still have a pawprint of her.

I've never found a perfect red either, except when you stamp in red ink underneath instead of just clear embossing ink, that works
You could do a nose print! I have a nose print charm of my dog’s nose❤️❤️❤️
This is great. Love it. Tfs

We do love our fur babies! 🐕
Havent found a good red embossing powder yet- but Ive been using clear embossing powder with coloured ink and it works great! :)

Take a picture of her wet paw print on a cement sidewalk/floor? Even a print in the snow, for those who get that stuff.
Or just her paw while she sleeping.
You could always scan or photograph her paw instead.
