damn the lupo 3L is actually a cool car, it's like an XL1 but actually attainable! i've fixed up a very rough polo 6n2 as a winter project, this is very similar especially in terms of the interior and that damn rust-prone back axle...
YO tengo el 1.2 desde el 2004 y sigue siendo una mala bestia en ciudad. Espero poder disfrutarlo mucho tiempo si puedo . Nota , creo que es muy importante tambien el tener la bateria en buen estado y hacerle una puesta cada 30 Km.

Hey, thanks for the video. I would like to ask if you know any good mechanic for Audi A2 3L and Lupo 3L near Aarhus if is possible. I have to change the clutch kit because on 5th gear if I'm not on eco and the car has full power the clutch slips.

I will reply in English so most can understand it.. vw specifies very low volume, but a lot of experience have shown that 3,1 L is better suited (similar to the volume used in VW polo that uses the same type of gearbox). You can remove the speed sensor in the top of the gearbox and fill from there. I suggest you can look up more details at lupo3lklub.dk There is so much valuable info there! I used Castrol 75w90. It is important to top up the hydraulic fluid, but I have never drained and changed it. Be aware of using the correct type!

Og i givet fald hvad skal jeg efter når jeg skal ud at finde sådan en (udover det du har nævnt i videoen)?
Vw don’t specify oil change interval on 3L. It’s suppose to last the life of the car. Since the oil is cheap, I have swapped gear oil several times in the hope of extending the life of it - it ran 10 years with no issues and free of noise

got a 03 620 000 km , best car ever but last year changed gearbox and engine, ac powersteering + swedish spec.

Those available in Denmark have often 400-500.000+ kms, and are worn out. I would look in Germany or Netherlands. Good hunt!
my hydraulic cylinder is stuck. i topped it up a bit anyway and now the gear change works again.

@@user-du6zn I wouldn’t dare to take the risk .. 90.000km is a long distance with same coolant pump, tensioners etc

Im looking for my first lupo and my main focus is fuel economy, is the 3L best option?
for long trips it has real good fuel economy. For short trips with lots of start/stop. Not so much. Lovely looking car and fun to drive though.

Jeg ville anbefale en Up i stedet for. Der er mange reservedele der er udgået, så det gør den svær at vedligeholde

@@achtomas Må jeg spørge med hvilken tester? Har nemlig haft sådan en fin lupo som min første bil da jeg fik kørekort.
Jeg bruger VCDS fra Ross Tech - en ædre version, men med fuld licens. De kan nogle gange købes brugt til en fornuftig pris

Volkswagen says nitrogen should be changed every 70,000km don't believe it every 30,000km for a healthy gearbox
Vw don’t specify oil change interval on 3L. It’s suppose to last the life of the car. Since the oil is cheap, I have swapped gear oil several times in the hope of extending the life of it - it ran 10 years with no issues and free of noise
