- In this video you can see how the stiching channel is prepared and carved into the leather sole. Afterwards the sole and frame will be sewed together with the so called double stich and the heel will be attached.

They have got an english site as well. I usually use Rendenbach leather for my shoes. I would love to use Horween Dublin Leather but I cannot buy it in germany.

What kind of leather do you use foe the sole? I'm having a hard time glueing it together
+lemusalonso Usually I use Rendenbach Croupon leather. 3,5-4 mm thickness.
+Karsten Konrad In the Video I used Roccaflex Croupon. Quite similar to Rendenbach but more flexible.

Das ist ein sog. Zuschneidemesser und man kann dieses bei den meisten Lederlieferanten kaufen. Falls nötig ist es auch möglich über mich ein solches Messer zu erwerben.
