The best part about this entire game was just the relationship between Jason and Salim.

Jason is the Mike(Until dawn) of this game. He start off incredibly douchey and hotheaded, but throughout the game he grows as a character.

X almost did a perfect run, he saved Merwin for the longest time possible, abandoned Clarice, saved Rachel without putting her in the goo, saved Eric, if he didn't fail that one QTE at the very end for Nick he literally would have done it perfectly on the hardest difficulty, first try.
Sadly I cant watch it. I had to quit because xqc is an asshole in every dialogue

Felix actually did really good in this ngl. Especially compared to everyone else that I've seen play this. Hardest difficulty and still he was able to keep almost everyone alive. Every single other person I've watched killed Eric at the rope part. Its crazy that he had the intuition to let her go when everyone else wanted to be the hero and save her.
Also, Nick's death in his play through wasn't the worst way to go tbh. At least he died while killing all the monsters. That's a badass way to go right at the end of the story. Very movie like if you think about it.

Except they used Egyptian dialect and forgot to implement the Iraqi Arabic dialect
Chat calling him "the worst" shows me none of them have tried those "stay calm" QTE's on the hardest difficulty. The other youtubers ive watched got people killed in the first two hours. Not because of bs qte's, but dumbass choices. Like not kutting rachels rope and getting eric killed. Or not leaving the lady that was turning and getting eric and nick killed. Xqc actually thought things through and only lost someone do to a qte. A true big brain individual.

i thought he was supposed to keep clarice with him but the wiki says that results in someone on the team being attacked. also saw a lot of other streamers kill merwin by choking him and killing eric with the pike

I like Salim the most but Jason had a really good character development. He went from hating the enemy and being very intolerant towards them to completely changing. Through Salim, he learned to not hate the enemy and even risked his life to save him in the end.
Salim got that godlike javelin throw tho. He should go to the Olympics.
Salim is so Humble he wouldn't go to the Olympics just cuz he knows he would clap'em all and get like 10 gold medals...
The next installment of the series looks like a literal hellhole, can’t wait for X to play it

Salim was my favourite character ngl. Chad from beginning to end.
Jason was the best character in the game. Him and Salim's relationship was the best and carried hard. In my playthrough Nick died at the end by being choked after blowing up the hive and that was it.
that was a good run, it wasn't flawless, but xqc did a great job, he's a good decision maker, it felt like I was watching a movie, btw that Salim and Jason connection though!

I honestly like this more than Until Dawn. It was shorter but much more packed, and the fight is just fantastic
Also knowing this is was way less funded as until down was heavily funded by Sony

I like until dawn a bit more. The characters personally knew each other, and the main villain josh had personal reasons for his antics. Even though he was crazy he also wasn't planning to kill anybody either. In this game only some of the characters know each other.
One thing I do like is that the vampires in this game are much more killable and not just insanely op as in until dawn.
Until dawn characters were peak booba tho

Even though some of the games by the devs are "better" you gotta admit all their games follow the same formula but never fail to deliver on some quality content/experience. you get scared and feel the tense environment they create, they really are unique and passionate about their work. I am excited for the next installation, it looks really different from the other games/closer to until dawn's storyline with the killings (not so much the monster part)

The dialogue is fine tbh idk what youre talking about. like the banter in the begining inside the heli for example, it just the typical stereotype marine talk that you see in movies. you expect then to just be silent or something?

Best Dark Anthology game so far in my opinion. Not perfect, but the story and set pieces were extremely interesting without it relying on the "it was all your imagination" twist. The characterization between Salim and Jason was also written pretty well. I only wish that Eric, Rachel and Nick had a few more redeeming qualities.
best part was the jumpscares and the chat spams someone said "i committed war crimes LULW" LMAAO

This is one of the rare times I actually watch a full playthrough of any game
this was enjoyable. the last full playthrough i watched was his Kingdom Come gameplay
its incredible how good xqc in games, he made it out with most of the group on max difficulty all the way
i like that finally it wasn't some kind of hallucination or happening in head thing, the upcoming game will be the best for sure

I realised that Xqc is actually very smart, perceiving an information, use the information he get and try to find a way to solve it, finding tablet before proceeding to the next location Is a very smart move, his problems solving skill is very good, I would love to see him in a escape room
Also, he always use strategic choice instead of heart, you might realise the heart and brain image on every decision making

These games are quite good. After watching them all (including Devil in Me which is underrated btw) I've decided that the main thing they need to work on is making more likeable characters. I actually found myself at the edge of my seat whenever either Salim or Jason were at risk of dying whereas in every other one of their games I couldn't have cared less about the outcome (although I actually was rooting for Rachel to die in this one). In a game where the main goal is keeping characters alive, likeability becomes pretty important.
