i just started the video, and i already noticed that SPONGEBOB'S GOT THE SUIT FROM THE EPISODE WHERE PEARL RUNS THE KRUSTY KRAB
which ALSO contains one of my favorite jokes from the whole series: "Alright, men, say hello to me Pearl!" "Hello, pole!"
Honestly so glad they added that suit! I really hope they add his Halloween suit from the first Halloween special. The brain one 😅

i do hope there are some aesthetic ones at least, or like skins for the "special" costumes, cause some of em (like the karate one) seem to have special abilities, but it would be cool to just have costumes that dont do anything
honestly, this reminds me of creature from the krusty krab and ITS costumes, and there were a LOT in that game, so i hope theres a bunch in this too!
4:19 I feel like they actually do call him Squog in the actual game and that they just didn’t show that in this trailer for some reason and my reason for thinking that is because if you notice when they say Squidward the mouth movement is off but if you take the mouth movement and pretend he says Squog than yeah it’s pretty spot on! And if that’s not the case than that’s a pretty easy thing they can fix before the game releases!
You know I was kinda thinking the same thing after I finished the episode! It’s edited together so strangely that I do think they took a bunch of stuff out so they probably 100% said squog. They probably didn’t want to confuse people and just kept it a name everyone knew!

9:22 I think the "Manta Fe" sign is a reference to the city capital of New Mexico "Santa Fe" [pronounced san-tuh fay] which is America's second oldest city.

i am gonna say, i only watched the trailer once so i didnt see a lot of the references, but seeing them now REALLY shows that purple lamp love and care about spongebob a lot, and its making me EVEN MORE HYPED for this then i already was
also i do hope that release date is real lol, i would do ANYTHING to play this, i kinda hope we get a demo tbh, PLEASE JUST ANYTHING THQ NORDIC DONT LEAVE US WITHOUT NEW FOR A YEAR AGAIN AAAAAAAAAAAA
Honestly I was so worried about purple lamp making this but the amount of love I see just from this trailer I 100% trust them to craft something everyone will love!

Apparently those pebble things are mermaid tears. We saw what looks to be (in my opinion) a gold mermaid tear in the downtown bikini bottom area. I personally think gold mermaid tears will be replacing golden spatulas! I hope there’s a hub world! Like there is cosmic goop all over bikini bottom and portals to wish worlds start appearing and you have to go to the only one you currently have access to! OR you’re automatically thrown into the first world (possibly the prehistoric period) and you pop out back in the bikini bottom hub. Apparently there is an aspect of the game where you save and bring back famous bikini bottom buildings. Maybe when you return to the hub world a building will fall from the sky! Maybe? Who knows honestly at this point!

Great analysis! I caught a bunch of references watching the trailer, but after watching this, turns out there were a ton more that went over my head! I think it's likely that the team at Purple Lamp binged on the show saving screenshots as they went to use as reference or assets to put in picture frames.
I was thinking maybe the first level with the Gary boss could be an exaggerated version of Spongebob's library and I think "Manta Fe" is a pun with "Santa Fe" and "Manta Ray".
Didn't even notice mr.krabs when I saw the trailer
