Gonna get one from y’all as soon as possible, like to see y’all bringing us better price options and giving us all with lower spending budgets a good option. That’s how come I bought my RODI from y’all.
Unfortunately you can only access reverse mode manually, it can not be programmed into timer mode. Also you can not program different flow speeds to different times of the day. Don’t get me wrong, I love this pump mainly because of the reverse mode and how powerful you can make it in reverse unlike others, you just have to put it into reverse manually and remember to turn it off and the manual says not to run it in reverse for more then 5 minutes.
Just a heads up, I have one of these in my 49 gallon, and it adds a significant amount of heat to the water.
Have you had a chance to see if it is pulling more wattage than it should? A pump can only heat the water up by however much electricity it is using. At 36 watts on the max setting, that isn't a ton but could heat up the water some. If it is out of spec, may want to see if Reefbreeders will warranty it.
BRS did good adding you to BRS TV....
A sleek powerful compact pump with a good price point. Almost looks similar to the Nero 3 & 5 series.
Both mine have not been working . Is their a restart method? Their only a year old. One kinda spins w no real flow . The other jus seems dead.

Is it posible to run nature mode , but at minimum power? I have a 16 gallon AIO tank, when I set nature mode my lps suffer 😿
Anyone have experience on the reliability and longevity of this pump?
I had got two since febrery and april 2019, they provid realy good flow and result, but i never was able to paire them in Master-Slave mode, the flow could not be change along the day ine the schedul and the reverse mode could not be schedul. But after few controller bug ( lock at flow speed 1 and mode 1 and the button don't responde for hours before come back to normal) they were replace by two nero 5. I reuse them in my QT and salt water mixing tank. Recently things started to goes bad, one controller completluy died in july and in the lasts weeks the magnet inbeded in the body of both pump startes to spile rust out of there epoxy enclosure.
Thats really bad! I hope you can still use the warranty on them.

It has an 18 month warranty.
Are they going to make it for 3/4 inch glass

Question why do people get cyanobacteria when they Frist setup a reef tank or just a saltwater tank.

When a tank is first set up, there are all sorts of organisms fighting for real estate. It's when those tanks are at their most unstable that undesirable algae and bacteria like cyano tend to show up most frequently.
Do you guys have an affiliate marketing program? I have lots of people interested in purchasing things I recommend.
So a rebranded Coral Box RN-1? Well at least the price point is similar.
I asked this question about 6 months ago directly to ReefBreeders. They're very open about it and reasons basically come down to customer satisfaction. Here's their full response, quoted:
"The RP-M is our own branded pump. That way we can offer an extended warranty (18 months), along with better support and distribution. The problem we run into with a lot of the coralbox and jebao stuff is that other sellers on ebay/amazon offer them without any warranty, which tends to make the whole brand look bad, regardless of retailer. By carrying these under our name we can control who sells them on eBay/Amazon, and make sure that every one of our customers receives the excellent service we strive to offer. We will still be offering the coralbox version with a 12 month instead of an 18 month warranty for a slightly lower price."
Sorry but $129.95 is not affordable
For this hobby it is. Especially when you consider that flow is one of the most important things for a tank. More important than lighting and just behind water chemistry

For its features you cant beat the price point. If you want a simple pump without any controls there are more affordable option.
Price is worth it, gonna have to get one and check it for myself.
